Abstract

Güzel sanatlar lisesinde desen dersinde dijital teknolojinin kullanılması : bir eylem araştırması Bu araştırma, Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi Desen dersinde dijital teknoloji ile geleneksel yöntemlerin birlikte kullanımının incelenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, öğrenci başarısı ve öğrenme sürecini, dijital çizim materyalleri ve teknikleri ile geleneksel yöntemlerin birlikte uygulanması bağlamında değerlendirmek ve öğretim stratejilerine entegresini eylem araştırması yaklaşımıyla belirlemektir. Güzel sanatlar eğitimi alan öğrencilerin farklı çizim teknikleri ile dijital teknoloji ve geleneksel yöntemlerin birlikte desen başarılarının arttırılması, sanat eğitimindeki yenilikler konusunda farklı bir yaklaşım denemesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma, öğrencilerin dijital teknolojiyi kullanırken yaşadıkları deneyimlere ve motivasyonlarına odaklanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, geleneksel desen yöntemlerinin yanında dijital araçların kullanımıyla sanatın değişen yüzünü anlamak, farklı ifade biçimlerinin ve tekniklerin nasıl dönüştüğünü keşfetmeye yönelik bir araştırmadır. Sanat eğitimindeki değişen dinamikleri anlamak, öğrenci deneyimini zenginleştirmek ve öğretim stratejilerini geliştirmek açısından bu araştırma önem taşımaktadır. Desen derslerinde dijital teknolojinin ve geleneksel yöntemlerin birlikte incelenmesi, eğitimde yenilikçi yaklaşımları anlamak ve öğrencilerin yaratıcılığını desteklemek için kritik bir adım olabilir. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden “eylem araştırması modeli” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, İstanbul da bulunan Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi’nde öğrenim gören ve desen dersi alan 11. sınıf öğrencileriyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma grubunu toplam 6 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Uygulamanın sonunda elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yöntemi ile analiz edilmiş ve sonuçlar belirlenen hedeflerle karşılaştırılarak sürecin başarı düzeyi değerlendirilmiştir. Son aşamada ise eylem araştırmasının sonuçları derlenmiş, gelecekteki benzer çalışmalar için çıkarımlar yapılmış ve öneriler geliştirilmiştir. Veri toplama araçları; yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları, desen değerlendirme formu, araştırmacı günlükleri, öğrenci günlükleri ve çalışmaların video kayıtlarından oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın sonuçları, dijital teknolojinin ve geleneksel yöntemlerin desen derslerindeki kullanımının öğrenci performansı, geleneksel yöntem ile çizilen desenlerde yaşadıkları problemlerin çözümlenmesi, motivasyon ve öğrenme süreçleri üzerindeki etkilerini ortaya koymuştur. Bu bulgular, eğitim programlarının ve öğretim yöntemlerinin geliştirilmesine yönelik öneriler getirmektedi

Using digital technology in drawing class at fine arts high school : an action research This study aims to examine the comparative effects of using digital technology and traditional methods in the Drawing (Desen) course of Fine Arts High Schools. The main objective of the research is to evaluate student achievement and the learning process within the context of applying both digital drawing materials and techniques alongside traditional methods, and to determine their integration into teaching strategies through an action research approach. The study focuses on students’ experiences and motivations while using digital technologies. In this context, it offers an effort to understand the changing face of art through the use of digital tools in addition to traditional drawing methods, and to explore how different forms of expression and techniques are transformed. Understanding the changing dynamics in art education is significant in terms of enriching student experiences and developing teaching strategies. The comparative examination of digital technologies and traditional methods in drawing courses may represent a critical step in understanding innovative approaches in education and supporting students’ creativity. The study employed the qualitative “action research” model and was conducted with 11th-grade students enrolled in a Fine Arts High School in Istanbul. The study group consisted of six students. The data obtained at the end of the implementation were analyzed using descriptive analysis, and the results were evaluated against the predetermined objectives to assess the success level of the process. In the final stage, the findings of the action research were compiled, and conclusions and recommendations for future similar studies were developed. The data collection tools included semi-structured interview forms, a drawing evaluation form, researcher and student journals. The results of the study revealed the effects of using digital technologies and traditional methods in drawing courses on student performance, the resolution of problems encountered in drawings made with traditional methods, motivation, creativity, and learning processes. These findings provide suggestions for the development of educational programs and teaching practices.
