Publication: Ümraniye Belediyesi Çanakkale Zaferi Konulu Şiir Yarışmaları Örneğinde Sanata Teşvikte Yerel Yönetimlerin ve Sanat Yarışmalarının Rolü
Abstract
Ümraniye Belediyesi, 2005 yılından bugüne (2016) hikâye, şiir ve resim sanatlarında yarışmalar düzenlemektedir. Zaman içinde bu yarışmalar geleneksel hale gelip, her geçen yıl yarışmalara yurt içinden ve yurt dışından daha çok sayıda katılım olmaktadır. Ümraniye Belediyesi geleneksel şiir yarışmaları 10. (100. Yılına Girerken Çanakkale Destanı) ve 11. (100. Yılında Çanakkale Zaferi) yıllarında Çanakkale Zaferi konulu düzenlenmiştir. Bu yarışmalara yurdun dört bucağından ve yurt dışından birçok ülkeden geniş katılımlar olmuştur. Çanakkale konulu şiir yarışmalarına katılan ya da yayımlanan kitaba girmeye de hak kazanan şiirlere bakıldığında birbirinden çok farklı eğilim ve bakış açısına sahip olan adayların başvurduğu ve ödüle layık görüldükleri gözden kaçmaz. Bu çalışmada Ümraniye Belediyesi tarafından düzenlenen yarışmalar hakkında genel bilgi verildikten sonra, Çanakkale zaferi konulu şiir yarışmaları özelinde sanata teşvikte yerel yönetimlerin ve edebî yarışmaların rolü tespit edilmeye çalışılmaktadır.
Umraniye Municipality has been carrying out competitions in fields of short story, poetry and painting from 2005 to now (2016). Over time, these competitions have become traditional and every year numerous people are participating to the competitions from inside the country and foreign countries. Umraniye Municipality's traditional poetry competitions were organized themed Gallipoli triumph in competition's 10th (Gallipoli Epic in the Way of Its 100th Year) and 11th years (Gallipoli Epic in Its 100th Year). From all over the country and many foreign countries a large number of people participated to these competitions. When we look at poems which participated to the competitions or which deserved to enter to the published book, it is seen that nominees who have too much different tendencies or point of views had applied and were deemed to deserve to the prize. In this study, after giving a general knowledge about competitions which have been organizing by Umraniye Municipality, it is tried to determine the role of local authorities and literary competitions in encouraging to art in case of poetry competitions themed Gallipoli triumph.
