Geçmişten günümüze bir ifade biçimi olarak mimari fotoğraf

Abstract

Tezin ön-araştırması, mimari fotoğrafa fotoğrafçı gözüyle bakışın teknik odaklı, mimar gözüyle bakışın ise mimariyi temsil odaklı olduğunu ortaya çıkarmıştır. Mimari fotoğraf, mimarinin fotografik ortamda iki-boyutlu anlatımıdır. Bu anlatım ne salt teknik ne de salt temsildir. Buna karşın, bir ifade biçimidir. Bu ifade biçimi fotoğrafın icadından günümüze, fotoğrafın bilimsel ve teknolojik gelişimi, gerçekleştirilen mimari fotoğraf projelerinin amacı ve kapsamı ve bu projeleri gerçekleştiren fotoğrafçı ve mimarların referans aldıkları felsefi veya sanat/ tasarım akımı gibi etkenlerle evirilmiştir. Tezin amacı zamanla evirilmiş mimari fotoğrafta ifade biçimini incelemektir.

Pre-thesis research has shown while a photographer’s approach to architectural photography is purely technical, an architect’s approach is purely representational. Architectural photography is a two-dimensional narrative of architecture through a photographic medium. This narration, is neither just technical nor just representational. It is a way of expression which has evolved with the scientific and technological advancements in photography, the purpose and context of architectural photography projects, and the art/ design trends taken as reference.
