Abstract
TEKNOLOJİ OKURYAZARLIĞINI GELİŞTİRMEK ÜZERE YETİŞKİNLERE YÖNELİK BİR EĞİTİM araştırmanın amacı, yetişkin bireylerde teknoloji okuryazarlığına yönelik bir farkındalık oluşturmak ve bilgi düzeylerini artırmak için bir eğitim geliştirmek, uygulamak ve değerlendirmektir. Bu temel amaç çerçevesinde, yetişkinlerde teknoloji okuryazarlığının teknolojiyi kullanabilme boyutu araştırılmıştır. Ön test-son test modeline uygun olarak hazırlanan araştırma evrenini İstanbul Yenisahra Rabia Leman İlköğretim Okulunun 2009-2010 eğitim öğretim yılındaki öğrenci velileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 18-44 yaş arası gönüllü 10 bayan oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcıların tümü alt sosyo-ekonomik düzeyde ve ev hanımı, %60’ı 36-44 yaş aralığındadır. Katılımcı grubuna 2 hafta süreyle hafta içi her gün 2 saat süren oturumlar şeklinde araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen eğitim uygulanmış, çeşitli veri toplama araçları kullanılarak veriler toplanmıştır. Verilerin toplanması aşamasında teknolojiye ilişkin alanyazın taranmış, ilgili kavramlar incelenmiştir. Araştırmada, durumluk kaygıyı ölçen Anlık Duygu Değerlendirme Formu, bilgisayara ilişkin ilgi düzeyini ölçen Bilgisayara İlişkin Duygular Anketi, kazanımların düzeyini ölçen
değerlendirme Formu ile eğitimin etkililiğini ölçen Eğitim Sonu Değerlendirme Anketi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programında çözümlenmiştir. Ayrıca nitel çözümlemeler ile programın katılımcılarda yarattığı etkiler ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, katılımcıların durumluk kaygı düzeylerinde azalma tespit edilmiş, bilgisayara ilişkin duygularının olumlu yönde geliştiği ve eğitim kazanımlarının düzeyini ölçen Öz-değerlendirme testinden aldıkları puanların aritmetik ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir fark gözlemlenmiştir. Teknoloji Okuryazarlığı, Yetişkin Eğitimi ABSTRACT AN EDUCATION PROGRAM TO IMPROVE TECHNOLOGY LITERACY AMONG ADULTS The aim of this research is to develop, implement and later test an education program for increasing awareness and knowledge of technology literacy among adults. Within this framework of purpose, of adults’ technology literacy; technology usage aspect has been analyzed. The environment of this research is prepared according to first test-final test trial model and consists of parents of Yenisahra Rabia Leman Elementary School students during the 2009-2010 Educational Period. Research sample is formed of 10 volunteer women between the ages of 18 and 44. All the participants are housewives with low socio-economic status; and 60% of them are aged between 36 and 44. The education program that has been developed by the researcher, has been applied to the participant group for 2 weeks period as 2 hour sessions per every weekday, the data have been collected by using various means of data collection. During the phase of collecting data, the field literature on technology was searched thoroughly, the related concepts were examined. In the study, which measures the levels of state-trait anxiety Instant Emotional Assessment Form, which measures the level of interest for the computer to The Computer on the Emotions Questionnaire, which measures the level of gains in Self-Evaluation Form that measures the effectiveness of training and education Final Assessment Questionnaire. When analyzing the data, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used. Beside, the effects of the program on the participants were tried to be reflected with the qualitative analysis. As a result, decreased levels of state-trait anxiety of participants was identified and developed in a positive way for the computer feelings and self-evaluation test that measures the level of educational achievements they observed a significant difference between the arithmetic mean of the scores.
