Orta doğu limanları ve Mersin limanı

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Orta Doğu bölgesinde bulunan önemli limanlardan biri olan Mersin limanı Orta Doğu’daki önemi de dikkate alınarak incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda çalışmanın ilk bölümünde, Mersin’in konumu ve tarihi, iklimi ve ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel yapısı incelemiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde, liman kavramının tanımı, limanların tarihi açıdan önemi, limanların sınıflandırılması ve limanların gelişimini etkileyen unsurlar yer almıştır. Ayrıca, ikinci bölümün sonunda Orta Doğu’da ve Türkiye’de bulunan önemli limanlara ait temel özellikler verilmiştir. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde ise Mersin Limanı’nın tarihi, konumu, genel özellikleri ve teknik özelliklerine yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca, Mersin Limanı’nda bulunan deniz hizmetleri, konvansiyonel kargo hizmetleri ve konteyner hizmetleri de üçüncü bölümde yer almıştır. Bunlara ek olarak, Mersin Limanı’nın stratejik önemi ve Mersin Limanı’nın Türkiye ve Orta Doğu açısından önemine de bu bölümde değinilmiştir. Dördüncü ve son kısımda ise önceki bölümlerde ortaya konulan bilgiler genel hatlarıyla değerlendirilmiş ve araştırmada ulaşılan sonuçlar derlenerek sunulmuştur.

In this study, Mersin port, which is one of the important ports in the Middle East region, has been examined considering its importance in the Middle East. In this context, in the first part of the study, Mersin's location and history, climate and economic, social and cultural structure were examined. In the second part of the study, the definition of the concept of port, the historical importance of ports, the classification of ports and the factors affecting the development of ports are included. In addition, at the end of the second chapter, the main features of the important ports in the Middle East and Turkey are given. In the third part of the study, the history, location, general features and technical characteristics of Mersin Port are included. In addition, sea services, conventional cargo services and container services at Mersin Port are also included in the third section. In addition to these, the strategic importance of Mersin Port and the importance of Mersin Port for Turkey and the Middle East are also mentioned in this section. In the fourth and last part, the information presented in the previous chapters was evaluated in general terms and the results obtained in the research were compiled and presented.
