Publication: Muallim Naci’nin Mekteb-i Edeb adlı eserinin I. kısmındaki hikayelerin ahlak eğitimi açısından incelenmesi
Abstract
Muallim Naci, Tanzimat döneminin önemli Ģahsiyetlerinden biridir. Ahlaki yozlaĢmaların arttığı o dönemde insanların ahlak eğitimine önem vermesi gerektiğini düĢünen Naci, Mekteb-i Edeb‟i hazırlamıĢtır. Hikâye etme yolu ile ahlaki ilkeleri vermeye çalıĢtığı bu eser kendi döneminde oldukça fazla rağbet görmüĢtür. “Muallim Naci‟nin Mekteb-i Edeb Adlı Eserinin Birinci Kısmındaki Hikâyelerin Ahlak Eğitimi Açısından Ġncelenmesi” baĢlığın taĢıyan bu çalıĢma “GiriĢ” ve “Sonuç” hariç üç bölümden oluĢmuĢtur. Birinci bölümde, Muallim Naci‟nin hayatı, edebi Ģahsiyeti ve eserlerinden bahsedilmiĢtir. Ġkinci bölümde, ahlak eğitimi, ahlak eğitiminde hikâyenin kullanımı ve kullanılacak hikâyelerde dikkat edilmesi gereken hususlar teorik olarak incelenmiĢtir. Üçüncü bölümde de, Muallim Naci’nin Mekteb-i Edeb adlı eserinde aktarılan ahlaki ilkeler üzerinde durulmuĢtur. Ayrıca bu ilkeler anlatılırken kullanılan hikâyelerin eğiticilik özelliklerine vurgu yapılmıĢtır. Sonuç bölümünde ise, araĢtırma sonucunda elde edilen neticeler değerlendirilmiĢtir. Ahlak eğitiminde kullanılacak çeviri eserlerde dikkat edilmesi gereken hususlar sıralanmıĢtır.
Muallim Naci is a foremost person in the Tanzimat reform era. Naci, who advocates the significance of moral education, had authored a book named Mekteb-i Edeb. The book that is aimed to teach moral principles by narrating had drawn pretty much attention at that time. This research entitled “Analysis of the stories in the part of the book “Mekteb-i Edep” by Muallim Naci in terms of moral education” is composed of three parts except introduction and conclusion. In the first part, Muallim Naci‟s life, his literary personality and works are examined while in the second part, moral education, use of narratives in the moral education and the factors that needs to be paid attention in the stories used are theoretically analyzed. Then, in the third part, moral principles argued by Naci are taken into consideration and particular emphasis is also placed on the educational aspects of the stories used while the principles are argued. In the conclusion part, results obtained at the end of the research are evaluated. Moreover, in choosing translated books that will be used in moral education, the factors that needs to be paid attention are also listed.
