Türkiye’de milli tarih anlayışı ve öğretimi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı Osmanlı’dan Cumhuriyete ülkemizdeki tarih anlayışındaki değişimden hareketle “Milli Tarih Anlayışı ve Öğretimi” meselesi üzerinde tarihçilerin ve tarih eğitimcilerinin görüşlerini ele alarak değerlendirmektir. Tarihçiler ve Tarih Eğitimcileri, kuramdan uygulamaya tarih eğitiminin yapıtaşlarını oluşturmaktadır. Bu nedenle araştırma, tarihçiler ve tarih eğitimcilerinin “Milli Tarih ve Öğretimi” meselesi üzerine verecekleri cevaplar üzerinde şekillenecektir. Katılımcıların milli tarih algısı ve düşünceleri belirlenecek, milli tarih ve tarih eğitimi ilişkisinden hareketle, sorularla konu üzerindeki düşünceleri ve çözüm önerileri tesbit edilmeye çalışılacaktır. Araştırmanın problem cümlesini “Milli Tarih anlayışının tarihçilik ve tarih eğitimindeki etkisi nedir?” sorusu oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma veri toplama ve analiz yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Veriler, açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmada İstanbul, Ankara, Konya, İzmir, Trabzon illerinde 10 tarihçi ve 10 tarih eğitimcisi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Katılımcıların konu ile ilgili görüşlerini daha fazla detaylandırmak için sonda soruları sorulmuştur. Görüşmeler metne aktarıldıktan sonra birkaç kez okunmuş, temalar belirlenmiş veriler, betimsel ve içerik analizi metoduyla özetlenip yorumlanarak çözümlenmiştir. Tarih öğretiminin disiplin dışı amaçları olarak ifade ettiğimiz milli tarih Türkiye’de Cumhuriyet döneminde gelişme göstermiş, zaman zaman ön plana çıkmış, her zaman tarih meselelerinde ve öğretiminde tartışma konusu olmuştur. Bu bağlamda çalışmada, milli tarih’e akademik bir bakış ortaya konmaya çalışılacaktır. yetçilik, Tarih, Tarih Eğitimi, Tarih Yazımı.

This study aims to evaluate the ideas of historians and educators of history by discussing the “National History Apprehension and Education” issue with the movement of changing history apprehension from the time of Ottoman Empire to Republic. Historians and history educators form the basis of the theory both theoretically and practically. Thus, this study will form the responses of the historians and history educators to the “National History and Education” issue. It will be identified the national history perception and the ideas of participants, with the movement of national history and history education, thinkings and suggestions for solutions will be determined on the issue. “How does the National History Apprehension affect the historyography and history education?” is the question of the main problem. This study is a qualitative research. Datas were collected with the semi-structured interview forms that consist of open ended questions. The study was performed in İstanbul, Ankara, Konya, İzmir, Trabzon with 10 historians and 10 history educators. For the participants to detail their ideas about the issue, the questions were asked at the end of the interview. The talking was read again after written, the themes were identified and datas were analysized , summarized and annotated with the descriptive and content analysis. National history which we call the undisciplined aims of the history education developed in the turkish republic period, time to time it was given more importance, everytime it became the subject of the history discussions.
