Adölesan ve yetişkin gebelerin doğum algıları

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırmada adölesan ve yetişkin gebelerin doğum algılarının tespit edilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Gereç ve Yöntem:Bu çalışma bir devlet hastanesinde 12 Temmuz 2021-31 Temmuz 2022 tarihleri arasında etik kurul onayı, kurumdan yazılı ve sözlü izin alındıktan sonra yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini araştırmaya katılma kriterlerini karşılayan ve 37-42 hafta arasında prenatal kontrol için gelen 30 adölesan ve 50 yetişkin nullipar gebe oluşturmuştur. Veriler gebeler ile yüz-yüze görüşme metodu ile toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan adölesan gebelerin ortalama yaşı 17,53±0,68’dir. Yetişkin gebelerin yaş ortalaması 23,9±3,64’dir. Araştırmaya katılan bütün gebelerin genel yaş ortalaması ise 21,51±4,24’tür. Araştırma dâhilindeki bütün gebelerin ortalama Travmatik Doğum Algısı Ölçeği skoru 69,575±26,492olup, bu değer adölesan gebeler için 77,267±19,848, yetişkin gebeler için ise 64,960±28,990 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Adölesan veya yetişkin gebe olmanın travmatik doğum algısına etkisini saptamak amacıyla oluşturulan bağımsız gruplar t testi neticesinde adölesan gebelerin travmatik doğum algılarının yetişkin gebelere nazaran %95 güvenle anlamlı bir şekilde daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir (p<0,05). Aim: In this study, it was aimed to determine the birth perceptions of adolescent and adult pregnant women. Materials and Methods: After receiving written and verbal permission from the institution, ethics committee approval was obtained in a state hospital between July 12, 2021, and July 31, 2022. The sample of the study consisted of 30 adolescent and 50 adult nulliparous pregnant women who met the criteria for the study and applied for prenatal control between 37-42 weeks. The data were collected with the pregnant women by using the face-to-face interview method. Findings: The mean age of pregnant adolescents participating in the study was 17.53±0.68. The mean age of adult pregnant women was 23,9±3,64. The mean age of all pregnant women participating in the study was 21,51±4,24. The mean Traumatic Birth Perception Scale score of all pregnant women included in the study was 69,575±26,492. This value was determined to be 77,267±19,848 for adolescent pregnant women and 64,960±28,990for adult pregnant women. As a result of the independent samples t-test, which was performed to determine the effect of being pregnant as an adolescent or an adult on the perception of traumatic birth, it was determined that the traumatic birth perceptions of adolescent pregnant women were significantly higher compared to adult pregnant women with 95% confidence (p<0,05). Conclusion: It was determined that the anxiety, fear, worry, traumatic feelings, and thoughts of adolescent pregnant women about birth perception were higher than adult pregnant women.
