Publication: Bağlanma Tarzları ve İnternet Bağımlılığının Evlilik Uyumuna Etkisi
Abstract
Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu 2015 yılı verilerine göre, evlenen çiftlerin sayısı bir önceki yıla göre %0,1 azalırken, boşanan çiftlerin sayısı %4,5artmıştır. Boşanma oranlarındaki bu artış ilişkinin devamını sağlayan "evlilikte uyum" kavramının tanımlanmasını ve uyumu etkileyen; evlilik uyumu ile bireylerin bağlanma stilleri arasında bir ilişki olup, olmadığı, hangi bağlanma stillerine sahip bireylerin eş olarak bir araya geldiği ve hangi bağlanma stiline sahip olan çiftlerin evlilik uyumunun daha fazla olduğuna ilişkin faktörlerin araştırılmasını zorunlu kılmaktadır. İnternet bağımlılığı kavramı da son zamanlarda evlilik uyumunu etkileyen bir faktör olarak düşünülmektedir. Özellikle eşlerden birinin internet üzerinden ilişki (siber-ilişki) içinde olması evliliklere yeni bir boyut kazandırmaktadır. İnternetin evlerde kullanılması, hem karı-koca ilişkileri ile hem de ebeveyn-çocuk ilişkileri ile bağlantılı sorunlara neden olabileceği göz önüne alınarak yapılacak çalışmalar alandaki bilgi birikimine katkı sağlayabilirken, evlilik uyumunu etkileyen sorunların belirlenmesi ve çözüm yolları ile evliliklerde yaşanan/yaşanabilecek sorunları önleme ve müdahale çalışmalarına kaynak oluşturabilir
Turkish Statistical Institute data has shown that the number of couples married in the year 2015 decreased by 0.1% relative to the previous year, while the number of couples divorced increased by 4.5% compared to previous year. This increase in divorce rates necessitates the definition of the concept of “harmony in marriage” which ensures the continuation of the relationship, and investigation of the factors related to a correlation between the attachment styles of individuals and their marital adjustment, the style of attachment which have a distinct tendency to result in individuals becoming spouses and the type of the attachment which provides higher marital adjustment. The concept of Internet addiction has also been recently considered as a factor affecting marital adjustment. Especially when one party involved in an online-relationship (cyber relationship) the marriages acquire new dimensions. A study on this field might contribute to the knowledge on this specific subject and also may serve as a source material for other studies and works that focus on determination of the problems that affect the marital adjustment, and their solutions, prevention of possible problems that may arise in marriages
