Publication: “Çocuklara mahsus gazete”de değerler eğitimi (1319 yılı/ 1-50 sayılar)
Abstract
“ÇOCUKLARA MAHSUS GAZETE”DE DEĞERLER EĞİTİMİ (1319 YILI/ 1-50 SAYILAR)Değerler eğitimi alanında yapılan çalışmalar, çocukların ahlaki gelişimlerine katkı sağlamaktadır. Söz konusu çalışmalar içinde özellikle 19. Yüzyıldan günümüze kadar yayınlanmış olan çocuk süreli yayınları da yer almaktadır. Çocuklara Mahsus Gazete bu yayınlardan biri olmakla beraber, metinler aracılığıyla çocuk okurlarına kazandırmayı amaçladığı ahlaki değerleri, hedef kitlesinin seviyesine uygun bir üslupla aktarmaya çalışmıştır. Bu çalışmada değerler eğitimi, dünyadaki ve Türkiye’deki çocuk süreli yayınları ve gazetede yer alan edebi türler hakkında verildikten sonra Çocuklara Mahsus Gazete’nin Rumi 1319 yılında yayınlanmış olan 1-50 sayıları incelenmiş ve söz konusu sayılardaki, ahlaki değerleri işleyen/ vurgulayan metinler tespit edilmiştir. Latin harflerine aktarılarak günümüz Türkçesine uyarlanan bu metinler, -ayetler ve hadisler ışığında- günümüze yansıyan yönleriyle beraber değerlendirilerek geçmiş ve günümüz ahlak eğitimi anlayışı ve çalışmaları arasında bir köprü kurulmaya çalışılmıştır. Çocuklara Mahsus Gazete, ahlaki değerleri vurguladığı metinleri ve okur kitlesine yönelik kullandığı üslubuyla değerler eğitimi alanına katkı sağlamakta; zengin içeriğiyle ise çocuk okuyucular için ilgi çekici bir çocuk gazetesi olma niteliği taşımaktadır.
VALUES EDUCATION IN “THE NEWSPAPER FOR CHILDREN” (IN 1319/ 1-50 ISSUES)Studies in the field of values education contribute to the moral development of children. The periodicals in question include children's periodicals, which have been published since the 19th century. In addition to being one of these publications, The Newspaper for Children tries to convey the moral values it aims to bring to its readers through texts in a manner appropriate to the level of its target audience. In this study; general information about values education, children's periodicals around the world and Turkey and literary genres in the newspapers was given and after that 1-50 issues that were published in The Newspaper For Children in the Rumi year 1319 were examined and the texts in said issues which study/ highlight moral values were determined. These texts, which were translated into Latin letters and adapted to modern Turkish, were evaluated together with their reflections in the light of verses and hadiths, and a bridge was tried to be established between past and present moral education and studies. The Newspaper for Children contributes to the field of values education with its texts emphasizing moral values and the style it uses for its readers; and with its rich content, it is an interesting children's newspaper for children readers.
