Velilere göre imam hatip liselerindeki din eğitimi (İstanbul örneği)

Abstract

Ülkemizde din eğitimini örgün eğitim kapsamında veren kurumlardan biri İmam Hatip Liseleridir. İmam Hatip Liseleri açıldıkları günden itibaren amaçları, müfredatı, öğrenci sayıları, toplum içindeki statüsü, mezunlarının mesleki yönelim ve istihdamları gibi konularda sık sık tartışma konusu olmuştur. Söz konusu tartışma konularına son yıllarda bu okullarda verilen din eğitiminin de dahil olduğu görülmektedir. İmam Hatip Liselerindeki din eğitiminin niteliğini araştırmak üzerine yapılan bu çalışmada, velilerin bu okullarda verilen din eğitimine dair görüşlerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, çocuğu Kartal, Kadıköy veya Üsküdar Proje İmam Hatip Liselerinden birinde öğrenim gören ve kendisi de herhangi bir İmam Hatip Lisesinde öğretmenlik yapmış/ yapmakta olan toplam 30 veli ile mülakat yapmak suretiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Katılımcılara çocuklarını neden İmam Hatip Liselerine gönderdikleri, bu okullardan beklentilerinin neler olduğu ve bunların ne düzeyde karşılandığı, okullarda verilen din eğitiminin öğrencilerin hayatında ne derece etkili olduğu gibi sorular yöneltilmiştir. Çalışmada yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat formu kullanılmış; elde edilen veriler betimsel yöntemle analiz edilmiştir.Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde İmam Hatip Liselerinin tarihçesi ve İmam Hatip Liseleri ile ilgili tartışılan konulara; ikinci bölümde araştırma bulgu ve yorumlarına, sonuç bölümünde ise araştırma sonucunda elde edilen veriler çerçevesinde İmam Hatip Liselerindeki din eğitiminin niteliğinin artırılmasına katkıda bulunacağı düşünülen görüş ve değerlendirmelere yer verilmiştir.

In our country, one of the institutions providing religious education within the scope of formal education is Imam Hatip High Schools. Since the day Imam Hatip High Schools were opened, their aims, curriculum, the number of students, their status in the society, the vocational tendencies and employments of their graduates have been frequently discussed. It has been seen that in recent years the religious education given in these schools has also been included in these discussion topics. In this study, which was conducted to investigate the quality of religious education in Imam Hatip High Schools, it was aimed to determine the opinions of the parents on the religious education provided in these schools. The study was carried out by interviewing with a total of 30 parents whose children were educated in Kartal, Kadıköy or Üsküdar Project Imam Hatip High Schools and who were also taught / teaching at any Imam Hatip High School. The participants were asked questions such as why they send their children to Imam Hatip High Schools, what their expectations are from these schools and to what extent they are met, and how effective the religious education provided at schools has on students' lives. Semi-structured interview form was used in the study; The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive method.ivIn the first part of the study, the history of Imam Hatip High Schools and the topics discussed about Imam Hatip High Schools; in the second part, the findings and recommendations of the research and in the conclusion part, the opinions and evaluations that are thought to contribute to the increase of the quality of religious education in Imam Hatip High Schools in the framework of the data obtained as a result of the research are included.
