Abstract
Bu makale, Trakya'nın kuzeyinde uzanan Istranca (Yıldız) Dağlan'nın vejetasyonu üzerinde bir çalışmayı sunmaktadır. Sintaksonomik olarak, vejetasyon iki birlikten meydana gelir. Bu birlikler; Acem campestri - Carpinetum betuli Yarcı, 1996 ve Calluno vulgaris - Quercetum infectoriae Yarcı, 1997'dir. Çalışma, klasik Braun - Blanquet metodu kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Birlikler, fitososyolojik adlandırma kurallarına göre adlandırılmış olup, Querco - Fagea Quezel et ai., 1980 üstsınıfı, Quercetea pubescentis Quezel et al., 1978 sınıfının Quercetalia pubescentis Doing Kraft, 1955 ordosuna dahildir. Her iki birlik de, ilk defa kaydedilmektedir.
