Abstract
İkinci Meşrutiyet ile 1950 arası olarak sınırlandırılan dönemde kendileri İslam alimi olmadıkları halde İslâm'ın günümüze hitabı konularında fikir yürütüp kalem oynatmış aydınlarımız baz alınarak yola çıkılan tez bir giriş, üç bölüm, bir değerlendirme ve bir sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında, aydınların fikir yapılarını şekillendiren tarihi ve sosyal çevreyi yansıtabilme amacıyla, dönemin siyasî ve kültürel ortamı ele alınarak aydını oluşturup şekillendiren çevre ile dönemin fikir akımları kısaca tanıtılmıştır. Birinci bölümde genel olarak aydınların din ve İslâm'a kavramsal bakışları ve bu bağlamda dinin evrimi, toplumsal ilerlemeye etkisi ve İslâm'da reform konularına yaklaşımlarından sonra İslâm'ın itikat, ibadet ve ahlâk konularına yaklaşımları incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde aydınların İslâm'ın hukuk ve sosyal hayatı düzenlemesine bakışlarını ele alarak laiklik, ekonomik düzen, cihad, kadın ve aile konularındaki görüşlerini işlenmiştir. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise aydınların din alimleri, hilâfet kurumu, hadis, kelâm, tasavvuf, sanat ve dil gibi ilim ve geleneklere bakışlarına yer verilmiştir. Değerlendirme kısmında aydınların görüşleri ana hatları itibarıyla kaynak, tutarlılık ve vakıaya uygunluk açılarından özlü bir şekilde değerlendirilmeye, sonuçta da varılan neticeler özetlenmeye çalışılmıştır.
This thesis consists of one introduction, three chapters, one over-study and one conclusion, based on the intellectuals who had wrote down their ideas by their pens on Islam, even though they were not to be called as the Scholars of Islam within the period, 1908 up to 1950. In the Introduction, it is intended to present, in brief, the political and cultural situations of that period, as well as the social environment and the ideological movements which shaped and made up the intellectuals in order to reflect the history and the society in that given time. In the First Chapter, it is studied to come forth the conceptual view of the Intellectuals on Religion and Islam and, in this respect, come forth their approaches on the evolution of religion, its effects on the social developments and reforms in Islam as well as their views on the creeds, rituals and ethics of Islam. In The Second Chapter, we studied their view on Islamic idea of law and social arrangements as well as of the secularism, economic order, holy war, woman and family. The Third and the Last Chapter deals with their ideas on scholars of Islam, the caliphate, Hadith, Kalam (Theology), Sufism, Fine Arts and Linguistics as the sciences and the traditions. In the Conclusion, it was aimed to present the main features of the ideas of Intellectuals in respect of references, systematization and factuality, and in the result to sum up the conclusions that gained at this study.
