Behiştî Ahmed Sinan’ın (ö. 917/ 1511-12?) İskender-nâme’si (inceleme-metin)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada İngiltere Ushaw College Churc Kütüphanesindeki Behiştî Ahmed Sinan (ö.917/ 1511-12?)’ın “Hamse”si içinde yer alan “İskender-nâme”adlı mesnevîsi incelenmiştir. Çalışma beş ana bölümde gerçekleştirilmiştir: Giriş bölümünde, İskender-nâme’nin bir tür olarak doğuşu ve gelişmesi ile Türk edebiyatında kaleme alınan İskender-nâmeler incelenmiştir. Birinci bölümde; şairin hayatı, eserleri, edebî kişiliği tanıtıldıktan sonra ikinci bölümde; eserin yazılış sebebi, şekil özellikleri, dil ve üslûp özellikleri, edebî sanatlarla ilgili unsurlar ortaya konulmuştur. Zülkarneyn ve İskender karşılaştırılması yapıldıktan sonra muhteva özellikleri başlığı altında Âyet, Hadis, atasözü, deyimler, örf, âdet ve sosyal hayat unsurları, nasihat özelliği taşıyan bölümler, savaş kıyafetleri, Sultan Bayezid ve İstanbul konularıyla tarihî belge değeri taşıyan beyitler incelenmiştir. Bu bölümde İskender-nâme’de öne çıkarılmaya değer bütün unsurlar ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde çalışmada ulaşılan sonuçlar özetlendikten sonra bibliyografyaya ve fotoğraf eklerine yer verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde yazma nüshanın tanıtımı yapılarak metin tesisinde takip edilen usûl hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Beşinci bölümde ise transkripsiyonlu metin yazıldıktan sonra metinde geçen şahıs ve yer adları indeksiyle çalışma tamamlanmıştır. İskender-nâme, Türk Edebiyatı’nın ilk Hamse’si kabul edilen Behiştî’nin eserleri içinde yer alması bakımından önem arz etmektedir. Ayrıca, Batı Türkçesinin geçiş dönemi özelliklerini yansıttığı için de Türk dili sahasında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Şairin cinas sanatına hakimiyeti, atasözleri ve deyimler bakımından zengin bir dil kullanması, İstanbul hakkında verdiği bilgiler dikkati çeken diğer unsurlardandır.

İSKENDER-NÂME OF BEHİŞTÎ (d. 917/ 1511-12?) (TEXT AND ANALYSIS) İn this discertation analyzes, İskender-nâme has been researched written by Behiştî Ahmed Sinan (d.917/ 1511-12?). The discertation consits of five main chapters: İn the introduction the emergence and development of İskender-nâme has been researched. Besides other İskender-nâme’s has been searched in Arabic, Persion and Turkish literature. Chapter One deals with the life, works and literary personality of Behiştî. Chapter Two consits of the information about the reason of the poet to write this work, the matritial norms, stylistics and linguistic proporties of the work as well as the literary figure of speech kinds in the said work are stated. In the content properties part, Koranic verses, hadiths, proverbs, expressions, idioms, customes, advice parts, war uniforms, Bayezid II and İstanbul; properties of social life. This part ends with a comprehensive summary of the all main subject parts of the İskender-nâme. Chapter three is a summary of the results of this work and it includes both the bibliograpy and the photographs as appendixes. Chapter four consists of the review of the manuscript as well as the information on the principles followed during the reading and forming the text. Chapter five inludes the transcription of the text and an index of the proper and place names stated in the text. Behişti’s İskender-nâme is important mathnawi in the Turkish literature. Because İskender-nâme has got some specialities, grammer rules aboute the transitional period of Turkish literature. Therefore it is an important work both from the aspect of history of Turkish literature and from the point that it shows the proporties of Western Turkish. Other important features of the work includes among others, puns, which the poet is a master of and the wide range of proverbs and expressions stated in the work.
