Endülüs'te Hadis ilmi : III.-V./ IX.-XI. asırlar

Abstract

Hz. Peygamber’in risâletinden yaklaşık bir asır sonra fethedilen İber yarımadası, sekiz asır boyunca İslam medeniyetine ev sahipliği yapmıştır. III.-V./ IX-XI. asırlarda burada sırasıyla Endülüs Emevîleri ve Mülûkü’t-tavâif dönemi yaşanmıştır. Bu çalışma, söz konusu zaman diliminde Endülüs’te hadis ilminin pek çok yönünü ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Merkez İslâm coğrafyasına oldukça uzak konumda yer alan Endülüs, II. asırdan itibaren Doğu’ya yapılan rihleler yoluyla hadislerle ve hadis ilminin farklı yönleriyle tanışmıştır. Hadis tarihinin bölgesel olarak incelendiği bu çalışmada Doğu’dan Endülüs’e intikal eden hadis musannefâtının rivayeti, ilim merkezleri arasındaki ulema hareketliliği ve hadis tahammül yolları ele alınmış, ricâl başta olmak üzere hadis ilminin çeşitli alanlarına dair telif edilen eserler tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın kapsamına giren zaman aralığında her ne kadar siyasi ve toplumsal huzur her zaman sağlanamamış olsa da hadis ilminin Endülüs’teki seyrinin gelişerek devam ettiği söylenebilir. Hadis ilminde derinleşen ulema sayısındaki artış ve Endülüs’te oluşan hadis literatürü bu gelişim aşamasının en önemli göstergelerindendir. Endülüs’te hadis ilminin gelişimine yön veren meselelerden biri de rey merkezli fıkıh anlayışına sahip fakihler ile Doğu’da hadis ağırlıklı eğitim alan muhaddisler arasında III. asırda yaşanan tartışmalardır. Hadis ilminin Endülüs’teki tarihi bakımından anlamlı olan söz konusu tartışmalara bu çalışmada yer verilmiş, tarihsel süreç içinde bu çekişmenin önemli ölçüde ehl-i hadis lehine sonuçlandığı tespit edilmiştir.

Iberian Peninsula, conquered approximately one century after the beginning of Islam, was under the rule of Andalusian Umayyads and Party Kingdoms during III-V AH (IX-XI AD) centuries. This study aims to reveal various aspects of hadith science during the period in question. Being far from central Islamic land, al-Andalus is introduced to hadiths and different aspects of hadith science through hadith journeys to the East from the second century AH. In this study, which examines the history of hadith regionally, the narration of the hadith books brought to al-Andalus from the East, the mobility of ‘ulama among scholarly centres and methods of tahammul (receiving hadith) are among the topics dwelled upon. Certain books are also identified from this period on various fields of hadith science, especially on rijal. Even though political and social peace could not always be established during the period covered in this study, it is possible to say that the science of hadith made progress in al-Andalus. The increase in the number of ulama who specialized in hadith and the hadith literature formed in al-Andalus are among the most significant indicators of this progress. Another matter to guide the development of hadith science in al-Andalus is the discussions in the third century AH between the jurists who had a ra’y centred fiqh understanding and hadith scholars who received a hadith centred education in the East. These discussions which are substantial in terms of the history of hadith science in al-Andalus are included in this study and it is concluded that this conflict resulted considerably in favor of ahl-hadith.
