Öğretmenlerin Akıllı Tahta Kabulü Ve Kullanımını Etkileyen Faktörler: Yapısal Eşitlik Modeli

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı öğretmenlerin etkileşimli akıllı tahtaları kullanma niyetini ve kullanma davranışını etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesidir. Araştırma, Birleşik Teknoloji Kabulü ve Kullanımı Teorisi-2 çerçevesinde tasarlanmıştır. Akıllı tahtalar kullanma davranışı üzerine etkisi incelenen dışsal değişkenler; performans beklentisi, çaba beklentisi, sosyal etki, kolaylaştırıcı şartlar, hedonik motivasyon, fiyat değeri, alışkanlıktır. Davranışsal niyet araştırmada aracı değişkendir. Araştırmanın verileri ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise düzeylerinde görev yapan 330 öğretmenden toplanmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında Birleşik Teknoloji Kabulü ve Kullanımı Teorisi-2 ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Dışsal değişkenlerin, içsel değişken üzerine etkisi yapısal eşitlik model analiziyle test edilmiştir. Bulgular dışsal değişkenlerin davranışsal niyetteki varyansın yüzde 62’sini yordadığını göstermektedir. Kolaylaştırıcı koşullar, alışkanlık ve davranışsal niyet birlikte kullanma davranışındaki varyansın yüzde 43’ünü yordamaktadır. Davranışsal niyet için, kolaylaştırıcı şartlar, performans beklentisi, fiyat değeri, alışkanlık anlamlı yordayıcılardır. Kullanım davranışı için ise alışkanlık ve davranışsal niyet anlamlı yordayıcılardır. Elde edilen sonuçlar modelle oldukça uyumludur. Öğretmenlerin interaktif akıllı tahtaları başarılı bir şekilde benimsemeleri için düşünülmesi gerekli olan öneriler sunulmuştur.

The aim of this study is to determine the _x000D_ teachers' intention to use interactive smart boards and the _x000D_ factors that affect the behavior. The research was designed _x000D_ within the framework of Unified Technology Acceptance and _x000D_ Use Theory-2. In this context, the external variables _x000D_ examined the effect on the behavior of using smart boards; _x000D_ performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, _x000D_ facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, price value, and _x000D_ habit. Behavioral intention is used as mediator variable. _x000D_ Research data were collected from 330 teachers working in _x000D_ primary, secondary and high schools. The data were collected _x000D_ using the Unified Technology Acceptance and Use Theory-2 _x000D_ scale. The scale measures all the variables examined within _x000D_ the scope of the research. The effect of external variables on _x000D_ the internal variable was tested by structural equation model _x000D_ analysis. Findings showed that 62% of the variance in _x000D_ behavioral intention was predicted by the external variables. _x000D_ Facilitating conditions, habit and behavioral intention _x000D_ predicted 43% of the variance in usage behavior. For _x000D_ behavioral intention, facilitating conditions, performance _x000D_ expectancy, price value, habit are significant predictors. For _x000D_ use behavior, habit and behavioral intention are significant _x000D_ predictors. The results obtained are quite consistent with the _x000D_ model. Finally, suggestions for teachers to successfully adopt _x000D_ interactive smart boards are presented.
