Publication: Kitle iletişim araçlarındaki teknolojik gelişmelerin haber üzerine etkileri
Abstract
Bu çalışmada, teknolojik gelişmelerin ve dönüşümlerin haber ve habercilik üzerine etkileri araştırılmıştır. Bu araştırmada asıl amaçlanan, haberin içeriğinden daha çok haberin hangi iletişim kanallarıyla yoluna devam ettiğini saptamaktır. Bunun yanı sıra haberi üreten ve haberi hedef kitleye ulaştıran gazetecilerin de teknolojiden ne derece etkilendikleri araştırılmıştır. Araştırma evreni olarak, Hürriyet Gazetesi, Hürriyet Gazetesi internet sitesi www.hurriyet.com.tr ve Türkiye’de, İstanbul merkezli yaygın yazılı basının haber merkezinde çalışan gazeteciler belirlenmiştir. Teorik kısımda, haberin ve iletişim kanallarının, tarih boyunca izlediği yollar kronolojik olarak aktarılmıştır. Diğer taraftan örnek gazetenin ve haber sitesinin arşiv taraması yapılmıştır. This study investigates the effects of technological developments on news as text and journalism. The main goal of the thesis is to bring to light not the content of news but the process that defines it. In addition to that, the professionals (journalists) as a link between news and the mass, will be investigated from the point of technological developments. Our area of research consists of Hurrriyet Daily newspaper, website of the same paper (www.hurriyet.com.tr), and journalists working there. For the theoretical part of the study, the history of news and communication systems is analyzed chronologically. On the other hand, the sample newspaper’s and web site’s archives are studied.
