Abstract
Risâletü’t-ta’rîf fî tercemeti’l-Mevlidi’ş-şerîf XVIII. yüzyılda yaşamış müderrislik, mollalık gibi çeşitli görevlerde bulunmuş olan Gümülcinevî Mehmed Efendi tarafından Arapça’dan Türkçe’ye tercüme edilmiş telîf niteliğinde de değerlendirebileceğimiz bir eserdir. Mahmud b. Abbas b. Süleyman tarafından Buhârî ve Müslim’den, kütüb-i sitte, Şifâ-ı Kâdî İyâz ve bunlar gibi klasik eserler ile şerhlerinden istifâde edilerek Arapça aslı meydana getirilmiş olan bu eseri Gümülcinevî Mehmed’in Türkçe’ye tercüme etmek isteyişinde herkese faydalı olup ve kendisinin de mağfirete, şefâate nâil olmasında vesîle olabilmesi gibi maksatlarla yazması eserin içinde açıklanmaktadır. Dört nüshasını bulabildiğimiz bu eserin nüshalar arasındaki farkları karşılaştırılarak transkripsiyonu yapılmış, metnin içindeki Arapça kısımlar tercüme edilerek âyet ve hadîslerin kaynakları da bulunabildiği kadarıyla metnin içinde dipnot kısmında gösterilmiştir. Ayrıca eserin içinde zikri geçen diğer kaynak eser ve isimlere dâir bilgiler ile esere dâir değerlendirmeler de ilgili bölümlerde ele alınmıştır.nevî Mehmed, mevlid, siyer, edebiyat, İslâmî edebiyat.
The work, Risâletü’t-ta’rîf fî tercemeti’l-Mevlidi’ş-şerîf, was translated into the Turkish from the Arabic language by Gümülcinevî Mehmed Efendi who was a professor, mollah, a virtuous and scholarly person living in the XVIII. century. The arabic form of the work was constructed by Mahmud b. Abbas with the attribution from Buhârî and Muslim, some Works like Kutub-i Sitte, Kâdî Iyaz and other classical works similar to the ones stated above and their explanations. As stated in the Risâletü’t-ta’rîf fî tercemeti’l-Mevlidi’ş-şerîf, the reason why Gümülcinevî Mehmed Efendi wanted to translate this work into the Turkish is that he wants to be beneficial t oto society, and to reach the intercession of the prophet Hz. Muhammed and for the forgiveness of Allah. The copies of this work, which has four copies, are compared to each other and transcribed. The Arabic parts of the text were translated and the sources of the verses and hadiths were found as much as possible and they are indicated in the footnote.
