Yerel basının dijital dönüşüm tartışmaları

Abstract

Dijital dünyada yaşanan gelişmeler birçok sektörü olduğu gibi basın sektörünü ve özelde yerel basını çok etkilemiştir. Bir tarafta sunduğu imkanlar ile basın için yenilenme fırsatı sunarken, yeni iş kollarını da doğuran İnternet, aynı zamanda yazılı basını da tehdit eder hale gelmiştir. Bu çalışma ile yerel basının geleceği, yerel basının dijital dönüşüm süreçleri hakkında dünyada ve Türkiye’deki gelişmeler ışığında detaylı değerlendirmelere yer verilmiştir. Bu kapsamda Türkiye’deki yerel basın çalışanlarına, sektör profesyonellerine sorular yöneltilmiş; yerel basının geleceği hakkında fikirleri sorulmuş, yerel basının dijital dönüşüm süreçleri hakkında bilgilerine başvurulmuştur. Çalışma kapsamında elde edilen bilgiler sonuç bölümünde yorumlanmıştır.

Developments in the digital world have affected the press sector and the local press in particular, as well as many other sectors. While providing opportunities for renewal for the press with the opportunities it provides on the one hand, the İnternet, which has also given rise to new business lines, has also become a threat to the print media. In this study the future of the local press, local press about the world of digital conversion process and developments in Turkey are given in the light of the detailed evaluation. In this context, the local media workers in Turkey, questions directed to the industry professionals; the opinions of the local press about the digital transformation processes of the local press. The information obtained within the scope of the study was interpreted in the conclusion section.
