Abstract
İnsanlık var olduğu günden itibaren içerisinde yaşadığı dünyayı anlamlandırma eğiliminde olmuştur. İnsanın dünyayı anlamlandırma eğilimi, onu bu dünya hakkında düşünüp üretmeye teşvik etmiştir. Sinema sanatı, diğer sanatlar göz önüne alındığında bu üretimin en son halkasıdır. Her sanat türünün çeşitli ifade biçimlerini kendi içerisinde barındırdığı gibi sinema sanatının da kendi içerisinde çeşitli ifade biçimleri bulunmaktadır. Belgesel sinema, bu ifade biçimlerinden birisidir. Bu çalışmada, belgesel sinemanın içerisinde nicelik bağlamında üretim bakımından oldukça önemli bir yere sahip olan müzik belgeseli kavramı incelenmiştir. Belgesel sinema alanında bir tür olarak var olan müzik belgeseli kavramı, belgesel sinemanın içerik ve biçime ait özellik, sınır ve ilkeleri göz önünde bulundurularak dünyadaki ve Türkiye’deki örnekleri aracılığı ile tanımlanmıştır. Çalışmada örneklem olarak seçilen filmler türsel analiz yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. Örneklem olarak seçilen filmlerin belgesel sinemanın özellik, sınır ve ilkeleri bağlamında değerlendirilmesi ile müzik belgeseli kavramının belgesel sinema alanında bir tür olarak var olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

Cinema art is the last link of this production when other arts are considered. Just as each type of art contains various forms of expressions, the art of cinema also has various forms of expression within itself. Documentary is one of these forms of expressions. In this study, the concept of music documentary, which has a very important place in documentary in terms of production in terms of quantity, has ben examined. The concept of music documentary, which exist as a genre in the field of documentary, has ben defined through examples in the world and Türkiye, taking into account the features, boundaries and principles of the content and form of documentary. The films selected as samples in the study were examined by the method of genre analysis. It was concluded that the concept of music documentary exists as a genre in the field of documentary, with the evaluation of the films selected as samples in the context of the features, boundaries and principles of documentary.
