Publication: Ferîdüddin Attâr ve seyr u sülûk anlayışı
Abstract
Bu çalışma, İslam tasavvufunun en önemli isimlerinden biri olan Ferîdüddin Attâr’ın düşünce dünyasının merkezinde yer alan seyr u sülûk kavramını derinlemesine ele almaktadır. Seyr u sülûk, sâlikin Allah’a ulaşma yolculuğunu ve bu süreçte nefsini arındırarak manevî olgunluğa erişmesini ifade eden temel bir kavramdır. Attâr, bu manevî yolculuğu tövbe, sabır, tevekkül, ihlas gibi erdemlerle şekillendirirken, sâlikin hakikate ve ilahi vahdete ulaşmasını hedefler. Bu çalışmada, Attâr’ın eserlerindeki seyr u sülûk anlayışı, pratik ve teorik boyutlarıyla incelenmiştir. Pratik boyut, bireyin nefsini tezkiye ve tasfiye ederek ahlâkî olgunluğa ulaşmasını, manevî disiplinlerle Allah’a yakınlaşmasını içerir. Teorik boyutta ise, vahdet-i vücûd, fenâ ve bekâ gibi kavramlar detaylandırılarak, insanın kendi varlığını ilahi birliğin içinde eritmesi ve Allah’ın birliği gibi derin hakikatleri idrak etmesi ele alınmıştır. Attâr, bu kavramları semboller, metaforlar ve temsillerle anlaşılır hale getirirken, okuyucularına manevî yolculuklarında rehberlik etmeyi amaçlamıştır. Bu çalışmanın, Attâr’ın zengin manevî mirasını anlamaya ve aktarmaya mütevazı bir katkı sunmasını ümit ediyorum.
This study deals in depth with the concept of seyr u sulūk, which is at the centre of the thought of Farid ud-Din Attar, one of the most important names of Islamic Sufism. Seyr u sülûk is a basic concept that expresses the journey of the sâlik to reach Allah and the attainment of spiritual maturity by purifying his soul in this process. While Attar shapes this spiritual journey with virtues such as repentance, patience, tawakkul, and ihlas, he aims for the sâlik to reach the truth and divine unity. In this study, the understanding of seyr u sulûk in Attar's works is analysed with its practical and theoretical dimensions. The practical dimension includes the individual's reaching moral maturity by purifying and purifying the soul and getting closer to Allah through spiritual disciplines. In the theoretical dimension, on the other hand, concepts such as wahdat al-wujûd, fenâ and bekâ are elaborated, and the human being's dissolving his own existence in the divine unity and realising deep truths such as the unity of Allah are discussed. While making these concepts comprehensible with symbols, metaphors and representations, Attar aimed to guide his readers on their spiritual journey. I hope that this study will make a modest contribution to understanding and transmitting Attar's rich spiritual heritage.
