Publication: Suriyeli göçmen çocuklarda vatan algısı
Abstract
Bu çalışma, 2011 yılında başlamış olan Suriye’den Türkiye’ye doğru yaşanan kitlesel vezorunlu göçü; İstanbul’da ikamet etmekte ve eğitim görmekte olan 7-18 yaş aralığındakigöçmen çocuklar özelinde ele alan nicel ve nitel bir araştırmadır. Araştırmada öncelikleSuriyeli göçmenlerin Türkiye’ye göç süreci incelenmiş olup, ana temayı göçmençocukların Türkiye’de yaşadıkları süre zarfında kimlik, vatan ve vatandaşlığa ilişkinizlenimleri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın teorik kısmında; göç ve göç olgusu, göç çeşitlerive göçmen politikaları açıklanmış olup, kimlik, aidiyet ve vatan kavramları da altbaşlıklarıyla beraber incelenerek araştırmanın teorik çerçevesi çizilmiştir. Çalışmada 160göçmen çocukla anket ve 17 göçmen çocukla da yapılmış olan derinlemesine mülakatlarneticesinde; çocukların göç süreci içerisinde kimlik, vatan/ vatandaşlık ve aidiyetilişkilerine ilişkin bakış açıları anlaşılmaya çalışılmış ve elde edilen bulgular ile durumanalizleri yapılmıştır. Çalışmada karma bir araştırma metodu izlenmiş olup, elde edilenbulgular tümevarım metoduyla açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır.
The present study is quantitative and qualitative research which is about forced massmigration which began 2011 from Syria to Turkey focuses on immigration children aged7-18 who live and continue their education in İstanbul. The process of migration toTurkey of Syrian immigrants has been examined in the study. The main theme of thethesis constitutes impressions immigrant children which is about on identity, homeland,and citizenship during the time they lived in Turkey. In the theoretical part of the study;migration and migration phenomenon, migration types and immigration policies areexplained. In addition, the concepts of identity, sense of belonging and homeland havebeen examined along with their sub-headings. In the study, 160 immigrant children weresurveyed and 17 immigrant children were interviewed. As a result of these surveys andinterviews, children's perspectives on identity, homeland/ citizenship, and a sense ofbelonging were tried to understand, and situation analysis was made with the findingsobtained. A mixed research method is used in the study. The results obtained were triedto be explained by the induction method.
