Abstract
KARTON AMBALAJ VE OLUKLU MUKAVVA ÜRETİMİNDE KULLANILAN KRAFT LİNER VE SAMAN FLUTİNG MALZEMELERİNİN SEÇİM KRİTERLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ Bu projede, oluklu mukavva genel bir bakışla ele alınmış, karton ambalaj ve oluklu mukavva üretiminde kullanılan saman fluting ve kraft liner materyallerinin olması gereken seçim kriterleri, bazı testler uygulanarak incelenmesi üzerinde durulmuştur. Bölüm II’de ambalaj çeşitleri ve oluklu mukavva hakkında detaylı bilgi verilmiştir. Oluklu mukavvanın yapısı, sınıflandırılması, dalga cinsleri, avantajları, ilgili kuruluşları ve istatistikleri, üretimi süreci, kullanılan malzemeler ve seçim kriterlerinin ölçülebilmesi için gerekli testler, bu testlerin uygulanışı, test makine ve standartlarından bahsedilmiştir. Bölüm III’ ise tezin uygulama aşamasını içermektedir. Camiş Ambalaj San. A.Ş. kalite kontrol laboratuvarlarında ilgili testler uygulanmıştır. Bu testlerin sonuçları incelenmiş tablolar haline getirilmiştir. Kartona, oluklu mukavvanın liner ve fluting kağıtlarına, nihai tüketiciye sunulan kutuya uygulanan testlerin bazıları kendi içerisinde ortak olmalarına rağmen (örneğin BST testi) elde edilen değerler farklılık gösterir. Böylece liner ve fluting tabakalarında kullanılan malzemelerin seçim kriterleri oluşturulmuş olur. Bölüm IV’ de ise; Bölüm III’de yapılan testlerin ve elde edilen sonuçlarının Bölüm II’ de bahsedilen karton ambalaj ve oluklu mukavvaya ait özellikler doğrultusunda, yorumlanması ve sonuçlandırılması yapılmıştır. Liner ve fluting kağıtların farklı özelliklerinin ön plana çıkması optimum malzeme seçimi yapılabilmesi için büyük önem taşımaktadır. Örneğin liner kağıtlarında patlama dayanımı değerinin (BST) yüksek olması istenirken, fluting kağıtlarının yüzey ezilme değerlerinin (CMT) yüksek olması beklenmektedir.
INVESTIGATION OF SELECTION CRITERIA OF KRAFT LINER AND STRAW FLUTING MATERIALS WHICH USED IN PRODUCTION OF CARDBOARD PACKAGING AND CORRUGATED BOARD In this project, corrugated board has been examined in details. Selection criteria of kraft liner and straw fluting materials which used in production of cardboard packaging and corrugated board has been determined by applying some test. In Chapter II, detailed information has been given about types of packaging materials and corrugated cardboard. Structure of corrugated cardboard, classification, wave type, advantages, related organizations and statistics, the production process, materials used and selection criteria necessary to measure the tests, application of these tests, the test machine and standards are mentioned. Chapter III contains the implementation phase of the thesis. Tests were applied in quality control laboratories at Camiş Ambalaj San. A.Ş. The results of these tests were examined and tables were created. Although some test is same (eg BST test) for the board, liner and fluting paper of corrugated board and box, resulting values are different. Thus, the material used in the liner and fluting layer is formed of the selection criteria. In Chapter IV; tests in Chapter III and the results of this tests were interpreted and concluded for cardboard packaging and corrugated. Optimum material selection can be made of the different features of liner and fluting paper must come to the fore. For example, the explosion resistance value of the liner papers (BST) requesting to be high, fluting papers for the surface value of the crush (CMT) is expected to be high.
