Abstract

GENEL LİSELER İLE MESLEK LİSELERİNDE OKUYAN ÖĞRENCİLERİN MESLEĞE YÖNELTME ETKİNLİKLERİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI Dünyada ki rehberlik faaliyetlerinin, özellikle mesleki rehberliğin öneminin gün geçtikçe arttığı ülkemizdeki mesleki rehberlik faaliyetlerinin hangi boyutlarda olduğu lise düzeyindeki mesleki rehberlik çalışmalarının öğrencilerin meslek tercihlerine ne derece etki ettiği ve bu durumun genel ve meslek liselerinde faklılık gösterip göstermediği, araştırmanın asıl problemini oluşturmaktadır. Bir mesleği seçmek ve ona yönelmek, bir anda verilmeyen hayat boyunca oluşan ve gelişen davranış örüntüleri yoluyla oluşmaktadır. Bu süreç bazı dönemlere ayrılmaktadır. Ergenlik dönemi, meslek seçiminde ilgiler, yetenekler, değerler, faktörlerinin göz önüne alındığı, gerçekçi düşüncelerin oluştuğu önemli bir dönemdir. Meslek seçme dönemlerinden ergenlik döneminin vurgulanan öneminden dolayı araştırmanın lise öğrencileri üzerinde uygulanması en büyük etken olarak görülmüştür. Araştırmanın temel amacı, mesleki rehberlik çalışmalarının, öğrencilerin meslek tercihlerinde gerçekçi kararlar vermelerine etki edip etmediğini ortaya koymaktır. Bu araştırmada anket çalışmasından önce literatür taraması yapılarak okullarda rehberlik servislerinin, mesleki rehberlikle ilgili rehber öğretmenin, idarecilerin, öğretmenlerin görev ve sorumlulukları araştırılmış; öğrencilerin mesleki rehberlik konusunda destek alması gereken konular saptanmış ve bunlara ilişkin anket soruları hazırlanmıştır. Bu anketler, çeşitli okullarda 534 adet öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada bilgi toplama aracı olarak anket kullanılmıştır. Deneklerden toplanan anketlere verilen cevaplar, bilgisayara işlenmiş; SPSS mlenen verilerin frekans, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma ve t-testi sonuçları alınmış ve daha sonra bu sayısal bulgular tablolar haline getirilerek yorumlanmıştır. Her iki okulun öğrencilerinin verdiği cevaplara göre; mesleki rehberlik faaliyetleri bakımından ortaöğretim kurumları arasında net bir farklılık tespit edilememiş maalesef her iki okul türünde de mesleki rehberlik faaliyetlerinin yeterince yapılmadığı, öğrencilerin okul ve meslek seçimlerinin çoğunlukla kendi ve ailelerinin seçimlerine bırakıldığı belirlenmiştir. COMPREHENSION of OCCUPATIONAL ORIENTATION ACTIVITIES of STUDENTS STUDYING IN GENERAL and VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL The importance of guiding activities is increasing especially vocational guidances is going up. The main problem of the research is to what extent is vocational guidance in our country, to what extent the vocational guidance activations affect the students when choosing occupation and whether this situation differ in general high schools from vocational high schools. Choosing a job and heading for it are something which can’t be taken at once but come into being through life with behavioral patterns. This process divides in some periods. During adolescense, concers, abilities and values of choosing occupation are important factors realistic thoughts come into being in this important period. Because of the emphasis of adolescence in period of choosing an occupation, the application of research is seen to be effective to be applied on high school students. The main objective of the research is to show whether the vocational guidance activities affect students deciding realistically in choosing occupation or not. In this research, scanny literature is done before the questionnaire. The duties of guidance’s services, guidance teacher related with vocational guidance directors and teachers are inventigated. The subjects which students need to help a bout vocational guidance are determined and the questionnaire is prepared. This questionnaire is applied 534 students in different schools. For this research, questionnaire is used to collect data. The answers given by the subjects are evaluated using SPSS software, and the results of frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, ANOVA and t test are estimated. Then, using these results, tables are formed and interpreted. According to the answers which were given by both schools of the students; in point of vocational guidance activities it could not have determined a sharp variety among the secondary schools and unfortunately these were determined on both type of schools which vocational guidance activities were not performed adequtely and student’s school and profession choices were left to students their selves and their families decisions, as well.
