Abstract
İŞLETMELERDE MOBBİNG (PSİKOLOJİK ŞİDDET) FAKTÖRÜNÜN VERİMLİLİK ÜZERİNE ETKİLERİ VE BASIN İŞLETMELERİ ÜZERİNE BİR UYGULAMA Bireyleri çalışma ortamından uzaklaştırmak amacıyla işyeri terörü, psikolojik baskı, duygusal saldırı, psikolojik taciz, yıldırma, psikolojik şiddet, sindirme, yoksayma ve karalama süreci gibi çeşitli kavramlarla ifade edilen, literatürdeki adıyla “mobbing” olgusu, önce bireylerde doğal olarak daha sonra örgütlerde ve devamında ise toplumlarda büyük bir maddi ve manevi zarara sebep olmaktadır. Kamu ya da özel sektörde çalışanların, psikolojik ve fiziksel sağlıklarını tehdit eden, işten istifaya hatta intihara kadar yöneltebilen psikolojik baskı olarak tanımlanan mobbing, moral motivasyonda yıkıntıya sebep olarak verimlilik, iş tatmini, performansı ve örgüt kültürüne bağlılığı olumsuz yönde etkileyerek büyük zararlara sebep olmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı mobbing hakkında genel kavramları ortaya koymak, medya sektöründe yaşanan mobbing vakalarını örneklemek; mobbingin kişiler, örgütler üzerine etkilerini araştırmaktır. Bu çalışma medya sektöründe genellikle “referans kirliliği”ne sebep olması endişesiyle mobbing kurbanlarının konuya bakış açılarını ortaya koymayı hedeflemekte ve dar olan medya sektöründe mobbigcilerin neden bu eylemlere giriştiğini anlatma çabasındadır. Ülkemizde, medya sektöründe, genellikle yaşanıldığı halde iş kaybetme endişesiyle normal olarak algılanan, önemsenmeyen ve genellikle görmezden gelinen mobbing tehlikesi, giderek artmakta ve özellikle medya sektörünü kapsayan hukuki düzenlemelerin bir an önce yapılmasını zorunlu kılmaktadır. EFFECTS OF MOBBING (PSYCOLOGICAL VIOLENCE) FACTOR ON EFFICENCY IN BUSINESS AND A PRACTISE ON PRESS COMPANIES Terms such as psychological pressure, emotional assault, psychological harassment, psychological violence, intimidation, suppression and ignoring; which aim to take people away from their work place, can also refer the mobbing phenomenon academically. This phenomenon harms; initially individuals, then naturally organizations and then the society in spiritual and material way. Mobbing can also be defined as all kind of cruel behaviors and psychological pressures threatening the psychological or physical health of public or private sector employees, forcing them to resign or driving them to suicide. Mobbing can cause great damages by deteriorate the efficiency, job satisfaction, performance and loyalty to organization; because of collapsing the moral and motivation. This study aims to put forward the general concepts on mobbing, to prevent the mobbing cases in the media sector and to research the effects of mobbing on individuals and organizations. This study aims to put forward the point of views of mobbing victims with the concerns of such views may cause “reference pollution” in the media sector and tries to explain why some minor groups in the media sector attempts such actions. Even though it is a common fact in Turkey, mobbing is perceived in a normal way, disregarded and usually ignored because of concerns about losing one self’s job. Mobbing is increasing day by day in Turkey and therefore necessary legal arrangements that contain particularly the media sector should be done immediately.
