Demir Çağı’nda Anadolu’da fırtına tanrısı inancı

Abstract

Anadolu, Fırtına Tanrısı, Urartu, Hitit, Geç Hitit. ÖZET DEMİRÇAĞI’NDA ANADOLU’DA FIRTINA TANRISI İNANCI Çalışmamızın giriş bölümünde, Mezopotamya ve Anadolu’da, M.Ö. II. binyıldan önce ortaya çıktığı düşünülen Fırtına Tanrısı inancının Demir Çağı’na dek olan gelişimi ana hatlarıyla anlatılmıştır. Geç Hititlerde Fırtına Tanrısı inancı konumuzun esasını teşkil ettiğinden daha kapsamlı olarak incelenmiş ve kabartmalar gibi görsel unsurlar üzerinden karşılaştırmalar yapılarak açıklanmıştır. Demir Çağı’nda Anadolu’nun doğusunda yer alan Urartularda aynı tanrı inancı, yine görsel unsurlar üzerinden değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmamızın sonlarına doğru ise, Fırtına Tanrısı inancının Demir Çağı’ndan sonra Batı toplumlarına nasıl aktarıldığına dair veriler üzerinde durulmuştur. BELİEF OF GOD OF STORMS IN ANATOLIA DURING IRON AGE Within the first chapter of this study, progress of the belief in the god of storm of which its’ emergence is considered as B.C. II in Mesopotamia and Anatolia is generally explained until the Iron Age. Since the belief in the God of Storms in the Late Hittites forms the basis of this study, it is examined in details and explained by comparing the visual components like reliefs. The similar god beliefs in Urartu which had been located in the east of Anatolia in the Iron Age is also tried to be evaluated through the visual components. Within the last chapter of the study, the data on how the belief in the god of storms is transferred from the Iron Age to the Western communities is emphasised.
