El-A‘şâ’nın şiirinde tekessüb

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Cahiliye dönemi sonunda ortaya çıkan medih şiiriyle kazanç elde etme konusuna odaklanmaktadır ve özel olarak Cahiliye şairi el-A‘şâ Meymûn b. Kays’a (H. 7 / M. 629) birçok atıfta bulunulmuştur. Çalışma, Cahiliye dönemi toplumu ve yaşamına dair arka plandan başlayarak, medih şiirinin ortaya çıkışından kazanç sağlamaya kadar olan süreci incelemiş, eski ve modern eleştirmenlerin görüşlerini ortaya koymuştur. İlk olarak el-A‘şâ'dan önce şiirlerini kazanç vesilesi olarak kullanan şairlere değinilmiş, ardından el-A‘şâ'nın hayatı, medih şiirleriyle kazanç sağlama motivasyonu ve medih şiirinin kurgusu üzerinde durulmuştur. Ayrıca, el-A‘şâ'nın dönemin krallara yazdığı şiirlerden örnekler verilmiş, bu şiirler karşılığında elde ettiği önemli hediyeler zikredilmiştir. This study focuses on the theme of poetic acquisition through the purpose of praise that emerged at the end of the pre-Islamic era. The majority of the study is dedicated to a pre-Islamic poet named Al-A'sha, also known as Meymûn bin Qais, who died in 629 CE. The study begins by discussing the society and way of life during the pre-Islamic era, followed by an examination of the poem of praise from its origins until it evolved into a means of poetic acquisition. It then presents the perspectives of both ancient and modern critics on this phenomenon. The study then delves into the life of Al-A'sha, exploring his motivations for poetic acquisition and the structure of his praise poems. It highlights the most prominent kings who were praised by him, along with providing poetic evidence for such praise. The study also discusses the significant gains he achieved through his poetry.
