Abstract
BESTEKÂR MEHMET RÂKIM ELKUTLU’NUN GÜNÜMÜZE ULAŞAN ESERLERİNİN ANALİZİ Klâsik Türk Mûsıkîsi’nde bestekârlık ve icrânın ayrı bir önemi bulunmaktadır. Teknik açıdan ne kadar iyi ve başarılı besteler yapılırsa Türk Mûsıkîsi’nin de kültürel, sanatsal ve icrâsal açıdan o derecede gelişeceği ve daha iyi yerlere geleceği muhakkaktır. Oluşturulan bir bestenin yapısal bakımdan ne seviyede olduğunu tespit etmek için ise eser analizi yapılması gerekmektedir. XX. yüzyılın yetiştirdiği ve Klâsik Türk Mûsıkîsi’nin son dönem bestekârlarından olan Râkım Elkutlu’nun bu alandaki yeri ve değeri hiç şüphesiz çok önemlidir. XX. yüzyıl, Klâsik Türk Mûsıkîsi açısından, birtakım sebeplerden dolayı sıkıntılı bir dönemi kapsamaktadır. İşte böyle bir zamanda, tavrı, üslubu ve farklı bestecilik yönüyle ortaya koyduğu eserlerle Klâsik Türk Mûsıkîsi’ne ayrı bir renk katan Râkım Elkutlu, sanatıyla ve kişiliğiyle bu dönemin mihenk taşlarından birisi olmuştur. Bestelediği eserlerle Türk mûsıkîsi’ne ayrı bir dinamizm ve değer katmıştır. Bestekâr Mehmet Râkım Elkutlu’nun günümüze ulaşan eserlerinin analizi için yapılan bu çalışma girişten sonra yedi bölümden oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışma sanatkârı bütüncül bir yaklaşımla objektif olarak, en doğru şekilde anlamayı ve anlatmayı amaçlamaktadır. Hazırlanan bu tez bir analiz çalışmasından oluşmaktadır. Râkım Elkutlu’nun günümüze ulaşan yüz yirmi iki eserinin, makamsal ve usûl yönünden analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir ve aşağıdaki şu sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Râkım Elkutlu'nun Türk Mûsıkîsi’ne kattığı eserlerle, gerek tavrı ve üslûbu gerek kişisel özellikleri ile dönemin diğer bestekârlarına nazaran ne kadar farklı bir sanatçı olduğunu görmemek mümkün değildir. Eserlerinde romantizm etkisinin yanında, melodi zenginliği, makamsal geçkiler ve çeşniler, bölüm değişikliklerine sık sık rastlanmaktadır. Bunların yanında eserlerindeki söz ve mûsıkînin uyumu ise prozodiye ne kadar önem veren bir bestekâr olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca Türk Mûsıkîsi’nin her formunda, dinî ve lâdinî eserler vermiştir. Eserleri genel olarak incelediğimizde icrâsal açıdan sağlam bir hançereyi ve mûsıkî nazariyatını gerektiren çalışmalar olduğu görülmektedir. Tüm bu sebeplerden dolayı Râkım Elkutlu’nun sanatı ve kişiliği ile sıra dışı bir bestekâr olduğu aşikârdır. Osmanlı’nın sonu ve Cumhuriyet’in kuruluşunu kapsayan bir dönemde yaşayan Râkım Elkutlu, eserlerinde eskiyi ve yeniyi birleştirerek, klâsik fakat farklı bir üslûbu oluşturmayı başarmıştır. THE ANALYSIS OF THE COMPOSITIONS BELONGING TO THE COMPOSER MEHMET RÂKIM ELKUTLU WHICH HAVE REACHED UP TO THE PRESENT DAY The composing and performance have various importance in Classical Turkish Music.The better and more successful compositions are made in technical terms, it is certain the more Turkish Music will improve and the better ranks it will be at in artistic and performance terms. In order to determine what level a formed composition is in terms of pattern, composition analysis must be done. Brought up in the twentieth century and being the last composer of Classical Turkish Music, Râkım Elkutlu has a very remarkable part in this art and undoubtedly important value. The twentieth century, in terms of Classical Turkish Music, involves a troublesome period due to several reasons. In such a course of time, has been one of the corner-stones of its period by his art and personality and also he has brought a different colour to Turkish Classical Music by his style, comment and diverse composition of many works he has established. This study done for the analysis of the compositions existing in today's life which belong to the Composer Mehmet Râkım Elkutlu is made up of an introduction and seven parts. This study aims at understanding and mentioning about the Composer in the most correct way with an absolute approach objectively.This thesis prepared consists of an analysis study.The analysis of one hundred twenty-two compositions of Râkım Elkutlu which have reached until today has been realized in terms of tone and rhytim and the conclusions below have arisen. It is not possible not to understand how different Râkım Elkutlu is as a composer with both his style and comment and his personal properties and also the compositions he has contributed to Turkish Music when he is compared to the other composers. In his compositions, as well as romantical effects, melodical richness, tone transmission and tastes, part differences are often noticed. In addition to these, the harmony of lyric and music in his compositions shows us that he is the composer who gives a lot of importance to prosody. Apart from this, he has produced religious and non-religious compositions in general, we see that they are the compositions in which require a sound singing ability and musical knowledge in terms of performance. Thanks to all these reasons, it is clear that Râkım Elkutlu is an extraordinary composer with his art and personality. Râkım Elkutlu, who lived during between the last period of the Ottoman Empire and the foundation period of Turkish Republic, has managed to set up a classical but various comment by combining the old with the new in his compositions.
