Abstract
Tefsir, Usûl, Fünûnu’l-efnân ÖZET İBNÜ’L-CEVZÎ’NİN FÜNÛNU’L-EFNÂN ADLI ESERİNİN TEFSİR USÛLÜ AÇISINDAN DEĞERİ Tarih boyunca gelişimini sürdüren tefsir usûlü, konuları ve kaynakları itibariyle birçok araştırmanın temel meselesi olmuştur. Biz de bu çalışmada Ebu’l-Ferec İbnü’l- Cevzî’nin Fünûnu’l-efnân fî ulûmi’l-Kur’ân adlı eserinin tefsir usûlündeki yeri üzerinde durduk. Bu bağlamda ilk kapsamlı tefsir usûlü kaynağı kabul edilen Fünûnu’l-efnân’ı gerek müellifin telifatı gerekse eserden önce veya sonra telif edilen diğer çalışmalar açısından değerlendirdik. Bir giriş ve iki ana bölümden müteşekkil olan araştırmamızın ilk bölümünde İbnü’l- Cevzî’nin hayatı ve eserlerinin ardından Fünûnu’l-efnân’a kadar ana hatlarıyla tefsir usûlünün gelişimine temas ettik. Ayrıca bu bölümde giriş kabilinden Fünûnu’l-efnân’ın yazma nüshalarına da değindik. İkinci bölümü ise eserin muhtevasına ve bu alanda telif edilen diğer kaynaklarla mukayesesine ayırdık. Sonuç olarak İstanbul Köprülü Kütüphanesi’ndeki yazma nüshasını inceleme imkânı bulduğumuz Fünûnu’l-efnân’ın alanında ciddi bir boşluğu doldurduğu neticesine ulaştık. Tafsīr, Usūl, Funūn al-afnān
THE VALUE OF FUNŪN AL-AFNĀN OF IBN AL-JAWZĪ IN TERMS OF THE METHODOLOGY OF QUR’ĀNIC EXEGESİS The Methodology of Qur’anic Exegesis (usūl al-tafsīr) as a science that has developed throughout the history has been the subject of many researches in terms of its scope and sources. This work studies the place and value of Funūn al-afnān fī ulūm al-Qur’ān of Abu l-Faraj Ibn al-Jawzī (d. 597/ 1201) in the methodology of Qur’anic exegesis. In this context, it tries to determine the place of the book which is regarded as the most comprehensive source in the methodology of Qur’anic exegesis from the point of all writings of the author and the other works written before and after the book in the field. The first part of the study which consists of an introduction and two parts provides a general description about the life and works of Ibn al-Jawzī, then the development of the methodology of Qur’anic exegesis until Funūn al-afnān, and introduces the manuscripts of Funūn. The second part focuses on the content of the book and makes comparisons with other relevant works. As a consequence, it reaches that Funūn al-afnān, whose manuscript in the Istanbul Köprülü Library is examined in this study, filled an important gap in its field.
