Türkiye ile BRICS ülkeleri dış ticaret değerlendirmesi

Abstract

BRICS (Brezilya, Rusya, Hindistan, Çin, Güney Afrika) ülkeleri son dönemdekiönemli ekonomik büyümeleri ile dikkat çekmektedir. BRICS ülkeleri Türkiyeekonomisinde de önemli bir paya sahiptir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin ve BRICSülkelerinin 2000-2016 dönemi dış ticaret performansları ve Türkiye ile BRICS ülkeleriarasındaki dış ticaret ilişkisi araştırılmıştır. Türkiye ve BRICS ülkeleri dış ticaretperformansları bakımından bu dönemde büyüyen bir yapı göstermiştir. Aynı zamandaTürkiye ile BRICS ülkeleri arasındaki dış ticaret hacmi artmıştır fakat Türkiye buticarette sürekli dış ticaret açığı vermiştir. Türkiye’nin gümrük tarife ortalamaları,BRICS ülkelerinin gümrük tarife ortalamalarına göre düşüktür. Türkiye’ninihracatındaki yüksek teknoloji ürünleri oranı, BRICS ülkelerinin oranlarının çokaltındadır.

BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) countries have beenattracting attention with their significant foreign trade growth in recent years.BRICS countries also have an important share in Turkey’s foreign trade. In thisstudy, performances of Turkey and the BRICS countries in the 2000-2016 period andtrade relations between Turkey and the BRICS countries were investigated. Turkeyand the BRICS countries displayed a growing structure in terms of foreign tradeperformances during this period. At the same time, foreign trade volume betweenTurkey and the BRICS countries increased, but Turkey constantly had foreign tradedeficit in this trade. Turkey’s average customs tariffs are lower than the averagecustoms tariffs of the BRICS countries. The ratio of high-tech products in Turkey’sexports is much lower than the ratios of BRICS countries.
