Serbest bölgelerin ekonomik açıdan incelenmesi : İstanbul deri ve sanayi serbest bölgesi ile ilgili değerlendirme

Abstract

SERBEST BÖLGELERİN EKONOMİK AÇIDAN İNCELENMESİ: İSTANBUL DERİ VE SANAYİ SERBEST BÖLGESİ İLE İLGİLİ DEĞERLENDİRME Küreselleşme sonucu artan rekabet ile ülkeler arası ticaret önem kazanmış ve ülkeler farklı ticaret uygulamalarına geçmeye başlamışlardır. Serbest bölgeler sundukları teşvik ve avantajlarla önemli bir ticaret bölgesi haline gelmiş ve sayıları ilk kuruldukları andan itibaren artış göstermiştir. Bu çalışmada, serbest bölgeler ekonomik açıdan incelenmiş ve Türkiye serbest bölgeleri arasında en yüksek ticaret hacmine sahip olan İstanbul Deri ve Endüstri Serbest Bölgesi’nin ekonomik etkileri ve sorunları değerlendirilmiştir. Serbest bölgelerin ekonomik açıdan pek çok yarar sağladığı ve ülke ekonomisi açısından önem taşıdığı görülmüş ancak bu bölgelerde karşılaşılan sorunların olumsuz etkiler teşkil ettiği anlaşılmıştır. Bu sorunların üstesinden gelinirse serbest bölgeler amaçlarını gerçekleştirebilecek ve ülke ekonomisine büyük katkılar sağlayabilecektir.

A REVIEW OF FREE ZONES FROM AN ECONOMIC ASPECT: THE EVALUATION OF ISTANBUL LEATHER AND INDUSTRY FREE ZONE With the increasing competition as a result of globalisation, the trade between countries has come into question and the countries have begun to pass different trade applications. The free zones with their incentives and advantages have become an important trade area and their numbers have increased since the moment of their first foundation. In this study, free zones was examined by economically and the economic impacts and the problems of İstanbul Leather and Industry Free Zone, having the largest trade volume among Turkish free zones, was evaluated. It has been seen that free zones have lots of economic benefits and carry weight about the countries’ economies; however, it has been identified that the problems facing in these regions create negative impacts. If this problems were to be overcome, the free zones would have fulfilled their objectives and contributed to countries’ economies.
