Publication: Günümüzde bilinçaltı kavramının sanatsal yansılamarı
Abstract
Bilinçaltı kavramının, 19. yüzyıl sonu ve 20. yüzyıl başlangıcında ortaya çıkmasının temelinde; değişen sosyal, ekonomik ve siyasi ortam yatmaktadır. Söz konusu kavram, tarih içinde çeşitli felsefe akımları tarafından irdelenmiş ve sanatın ilgi alanını oluşturmuştur. Bilinçaltının psikolojide ve felsefedeki yansımalarına baktığımızda; Freud'un kişi psikolojisini, Lacan'ın dil analizini, Jung'ın Kollektif bilinçaltını, Deleuze ve Guattari'nin arzuya yükledikleri anlamları görürüz. Bilinçaltı kavramının sanattaki yansıması, kuşkusuz yüzyıllardan beri süregelmişti. Ancak belirgin çıkışı, yüzyıl başında olmuştur. Dışavurumculuk ve Gerçeküstücü akımlar, Freud'un felsefesinden hareketle, kişinin bilinçaltında yaşadığı gerilimi dışanya vurmuşlar veya varolan dünyadan uzaklaşmak adına, bilinçaltı dünyasına girmişlerdir. 1960 sonrası ve günümüz sanatına geldiğimizde, Jung'ın Kollektif bilinçaltının sorgulandığını, Feminist Sanat başta olmak üzere Deleuze ve Guattari gibi düşünürleri arkalarına alarak bilinçaltında geriye doğru kat ettikleri yolu görürüz. Cinsellik, eşcinsellik, şiddet gibi bastırılmış duyguların ortaya çıkışı, toplumun kişi üzerinde oluşturduğu üst Beni sarsmayı hedef almıştır. Sanatçıların günümüzde kullandıkları anlatım biçimleri, bilinçaltını dolaşımsız olarak ortaya çıkartmak adınadır. Performans sanatında, Happeninglerde toplumun baskısının henüz kurulmadığı ilk insana, çocukluk dönemine ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Beden sanatında, beden tüm anlamların, işaretlerin, kitlesel ve kişisel bilinçaltının sorgulandığı bir nesnedir. Video sanatında, sanatçı narsist bir illüzyona uğrayarak, kendini ve kendi bilinçaltını görünür kılmış, fotoğrafla belgelemiştir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışma, bilinçaltı kavramının, sanatta bireyin ortaya çıkması adına göstermiş olduğu çabalan kapsamaya çalışmış, sanatçının bu yolda karşılaşacağı tehlikeler ve aldığı riskleri irdelemeye çalışmıştır.
Changes in the social, economic and political environments at the end of 19th and the begining of 20th century are the reasons that lie behind the appearing of the concept subconscious. This concept was examined by various philosophic movements in the history and inspired the art. When we look to the reflections of the subconscious in the psychology and philosophy, we see the Freud's psychology of the individual, Lacan's language analysis, Jung's collective subconscious, the meanings of the desires by Deleuze and Guattari. There is no doubt that the reflection of subconscious in art continued from many centuries before. But the clear break through happened at the beginning of the century. Expressionist and Sürrealist movements which were inspired by the philosophy of Freud expressed the tension of the person's subconscious ör has entered the world of subconscious to get away from the existing world. Talking about the post 1960's and present tense art, we can see that Jung's collective subconscious is been questioned, taken a journey to the way back in the subconscious pioneered by Feminist art who are inspired by the philosops like Deleuze and Guattari. The appearing of the hidden feelings like sex, homosexuality, violence aimed to shock the süper EGO created by society on the individuals. Today, the expression method of the artists are straightly bringing the subconscious to light. in the Performance Arts and Happenings, artists tried to reach non-society dominated fırst human being - the childhood period. in body language, the body is the object where ali the meanings and signs are questioned as masses and individuals. in Video Art, the artist gets into narcissic-illusion expressing himself/ herself and feelings by documenting with photographs. As a conclusion, this study encloses the subconscious concept, the effort for forming of the individual in art and examines the risks the artist will take during this journey.
