Publication: Erdemli (Mersin) yöresinin geleneksel halk ilacı olarak kullanılan bitkileri
Abstract
Amaç: Bu çalışmada tarihte birçok uygarlığa ev sahipliği yapan, inanç, deniz, yayla, doğa turizmi, dokumacılık gibi kültürel mirasa ve endemik bitkilerce zengin bitki örtüsüne sahip olan daha önce kapsamlı bir araştırma yapılmamış Erdemli ilçesi araştırılmış ve yörede geleneksel halk ilacı olarak kullanılan bitkilerin saptanması ve derlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu araştırmada Nisan 2019 ile Kasım 2020 tarihleri arasında Nisan, Mayıs, Haziran, Temmuz, Ağustos, Ekim ve Kasım aylarında yörede toplam 35 günlük arazi çalışması yapılmıştır. Bu arazi çalışmalarında yöredeki 71 mahalleye gidilerek halk ilacı olarak kullanılan bitkilerden örnekler toplanmıştır. Bu bitkilerin yöresel adları, tedavideki kullanılışları, yararlanılan kısımları, ilaçların hazırlanışı, uygulanış şekilleri, dozları, uygulama süreleri hakkında bilgiler derlenmiştir. Toplanan bu örnekler Marmara Üniversitesi Eczacılık Fakültesi Herbaryumu’nda (MARE) bulunmaktadır.Bulgular: Yörede toplanan 117 bitki örneğinin teşhisi sonucu 106 taksondan geleneksel halk ilacı olarak yararlanıldığı saptanmıştır. Halk ilacı olarak kullanılan bitkilerin 81’ i yörede yabani olarak bulunan ve 25’ i kültür formda yetiştirilen bitkilerdir. Bu taksonlar ve tedavide yer alan yöresel kullanılışları metinde belirtilmiştir.Sonuç: Erdemli yöresinde kaydedilen bitkilerden en çok böbrek hastalıkları, şeker hastalığı, öksürük, soğuk algınlığı, mide rahatsızlıkları, kalp-damar hastalıkları ve hemoroidin tedavisinde yararlanıldığı tespit edilmiştir.
Objective: In this study, it was aimed to determine and assemble the plants used as traditional folk medicine in the Erdemli district has a vegetation rich in endemic plants, which has not been extensively researched before. Erdemli region has hosted many civilizations in history and in addition that has a cultural heritage that such as faith, sea, plateau, nature tourism, weaving.Materials and Methods: In this research, the field works have been done between April 2019 and November 2020 in April, May, June, July, August, October and November for 35 days of excursion was carried out in the region. In this field studies, 71 settlements centers have been visited and samples of plants used as folk medicine were collected and the information such as local names, ailments treated or therapeutic effects, used plant parts, method of preperation and administration, dosage, duration of treatment have been recorded. The collected plant samples are kept in the Herbarium of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Marmara University (MARE).Results: As a result of identification of 117 plant samples, 106 taxa used as a traditional folk medicine, have been determined. 81 of the plants used as folk medicine were wild and 25 of them were cultivated in culture form. These taxa and local uses of them in treatment are specified in the text.Conclusion: The plants recorded in Erdemli are mostly used for renal ailments, diabetes, cough, cold, stomach ailments, cardiovascular ailments and hemorrhoids.
