Öğretmenlerin liderlik niteliklerinin sınıf yönetme becerilerine etkisi

Abstract

ÖĞRETMENLERİN LİDERLİK NİTELİĞİNİN SINIF YÖNETME BECERİLERİNE ETKİSİ Öğretmen liderliği, öğretmenin sınıfta ve okulda formal ve informal eğitimsel etkinlik ve süreçlerde istekli görevler üstlenme, bağımsız projeler oluşturma, çevresini etkileme, meslektaşlarının gelişimine destek olma ve güven oluşturma yeterliliğidir. Öğretmen liderliğinde vizyon, yapı, zaman ve beceriler temel koşullardandır. Yeni okul modellerinde hem öğretmenlere hem de müdürlere liderlik becerilerini gösterebilmeleri yönünde olanaklar sağlanması önerilmektedir. Öğretmene yapılacak destek yöntemleri arasında okul müdürünün etkisi dikkati çekecek boyutta önemlidir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, Meslek liselerinde görev yapan Öğretmenlerin Liderlik Niteliklerinin Sınıf Yönetme Becerilerine etkisinin niteliksel olarak incelemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini, İstanbul İli’nde, Mesleki Liselerde görev yapan meslek ve kültür dersleri öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu ise İstanbul ili; Kartal, Maltepe, Kadıköy, Zeytinburnu, Eminönü ve Ataşehir İlçe Mili Eğitim Müdürlüklerine bağlı Meslek Liseleri’nde görev yapmakta olan ve araştırmaya tesadüfî olarak katılan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin 150’si bayan, 125’i ise erkek olarak toplam 275 öğretmene ulaşılmıştır. Deneklere uygulanan anketlerden elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde SPSS istatistik kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular için tablolar oluşturulmuş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları sınıf yönetiminde Lider öğretmenlerin daha başarılı olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Sınıflarında derse katılımın, öğrenci başarısının ve motivasyonunun daha fazla olduğu görülmüştür. TEACHERS' CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT LEADERSHIP SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS IN EFFECTS Teacher Leadership is his or her qualifications in being voluntary to take part in either forma lor informal educational activities and processes in the class and at school, his or her designation of individual projects , his or her influence on others , his or her support for the sophistication of the colleaques and establishing confidence.Vision, construction, time and skills are basic circumstances of teacher leadership.In new school models it is proposed that both teachers and headmasters should be enabled to show their leadership skills.School headmaster’s effect is remarkably important among support techniques for the teacher. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of leadership qualifications of the teachers of Vocational Schools on their Class Management Skills qualitatively. This study’s cosmos is constituted of teachers of vocational and cultural subjets who work in Vocational High Schools in İstanbul. This study’s research group is constituted of teachers who work in Vocational High Schools in Kartal,Maltepe,Kadıköy,Zeytinburnu,Eminönü and Ataşehir towns of İstanbul city and who are randomly selected.In total 275 teachers attended this study.150 of the teachers are female and 125 of the teachers are male. SPSS Statistical Program has been used in analyzing the data obtained from the questionnaire that is applied to the attendants.Tables are formed for the obtained data and they are interpreted. The result of the study showed that Leader Teachers are more successful in class management.Participation , student success and motivation is higher in classes of these teachers.It is observed that teachers individual and Professional aptitude is an effective factor in displaying their leadership skills.
