Abstract

Vahiy Kitabı, Yuhanna’nın Vahyi, Yuhanna, Apokalipse, Yenş Ahit. ÖZET YUHANNA’NIN VAHYİ Vahiy kitabı Yeni Ahit’in son kitabıdır. Yeni Ahit kanonu içerisinde yer alan apokalipse türüne ait tek kitaptır. Dili Grekçe’dir. Yazarının kim olduğu konusunda birbirinden farklı birtakım iddialar var olmakla birlikte günümüzde dahi bu konu hakkında kesin bir karara varılamamıştır. Yazılış tarihi ile ilgili de farklı görüşler ortaya atılmaktadır, fakat genel olarak M.S. I. yüzyılda yazıldığı kabul edilmektedir. Anadolu’nun Ege kıyılarındaki Patmos adasında yazıldığı baskın olarak kabul gören görüştür. Vahiy kitabı genel olarak Anadolu’daki yedi kiliseye gönderilen yedi mektup ve sembolik bir üslupla anlatılan kıyamet vizyonlarını içermektedir. Bu çalışmanın temel konusunu Vahiy kitabı oluşturmaktadır. İlk olarak kitabın yazıldığı dönem, kitabın yazarı, yazılış tarihi, yazıldığı yer ile kanonizasyonu konusu incelenmiş sonrasında ise kitabın içeriği ile kitaptaki semboller inceleme konusu yapılmıştır. THE BOOK REVELATİON - APOCALYPSE OF JOHN The Book of Revelation is the last book of the New Testament. It is the only book in the NT which belongs to the genre of apocalypse. There are different ideas on that who wrote Revelation. But even today there is no certain answer to the question “who is the author of Revelation?”. According to the most accepted views the Book of Revelation was written in Anatolia in Greek language at the end of the first century. It consists of two main parts; messages to the seven churches located in Anatolia and apocalyptic visions written in figurative language. The main subject of this work is the Book of Revelation. The period which the book was written, the author of the book, the date of writing, and it’s canonicity were examined first. Secondly, the content of Revelation and it’s sembols were examined.
