Topkapı Sarayı Müze Kütüphanesi'ndeki XVIII. ve XIX. yüzyıl Osmanlı mushafları

Abstract

TOPKAPI SARAYI MÜZE KÜTÜPHANESİ'NDEKİXVIII. ve XIX. YÜZYIL OSMANLI MUSHAFLARIXVIII. ve XIX. yüzyıllar Osmanlı Devleti’nde siyasî, sosyal, askerî, ekonomik, sanatsal vehemen her alanda büyük dönüşümlere ve önemli paradigma değişikliklerine sahne olmuştur. TopkapıSarayı Müze Kütüphanesi Osmanlı Devleti’nin merkezinde yer alması bakımından bu değişim vedönüşümlerin izleneceği en verimli mekanların başında gelmektedir. Matbaanın bu yüzyıllardaOsmanlı Devleti’nde yaygınlaşmaya başlaması mushaf istinsâhını kaçınılmaz olarak şekillendirenbaşlıca etmenlerden biri, diğer taraftan Avrupa kaynaklı sosyal ve sanatsal akımlar da dolaylıyansımalarla mushaf tertibinde etkin olmuştur. Bu tez, özellikle mushaf tertibinde, XVIII. ve XIX.yüzyıllarda görülen mushaf yazım versiyonlarını, bu versiyonlar arasındaki farklılık ve benzerlikleri,özetle mushaf tertibinin seyrini ve geçirdiği evrimsel süreci tesbit etmeye yönelik bir girişimdir. Buamaçla, yazma mushaflar sayfa ve satır düzeni, yazı çeşitleri, içerik ve ketebeleri açısındanincelenmiş, yıllar boyunca gerçekleşen değişimler ve standartlaşan özellikler tahlil edilmiştir.

THE XVIIIth AND XIXth CENTURIES OTTOMAN QURAN MANUSCRIPTS IN TOPKAPIPALACE MUSEUM LIBRARYThe XVIII. and XIX. centuries witnessed great transformations and major paradigm shifts inpolitical, social, military, economical, artistic and nearly all fields in the Ottoman State. TopkapıPalace Museum Library as regards being located in the center of the Ottoman State is in the leadingposition of the most prolific places in which these tranformations and shifts could be traced. Besidesthe fact that the start of proliferation of the printing house in the centuries is one of the factors whichform the copying of the Quran, European based, social and artistic movements also were effectivewith their indirect reflections in the designs of the Quran. This study, especially in the design of theQuran, is an attempt aimed at determining the copying versions of the Quran appeared in the XVIII.and XIX. centuries and differences and similarities among those versions, briefly the progress of theQuran copying and its conveying evolutionary process. For this purpose, the Quran manuscripts havebeen studied with respect to their layouts, styles of writing, contents and colophons, the changesthrough the years and their standardised features have been analysed.
