Publication: Yapay zeka teknolojisi destekli işlenen solfej derslerine ilişkin bir eylem araştırması
Abstract
Günümüzde teknoloji birçok alanı etkilemiş ve değişime zorlamıştır. Eğitimde de teknolojik olanaklardan faydalanılmaması eğitimin niteliğini azaltmakta ve çağın gerisinde kalmasına sebep olmaktadır. Günümüzde kalabalık sınıflarda işlenen solfej dersi sebebi ile öğrenciye ulaşılmakta güçlük çekilmekte ve eğitim bireyselleştirilememektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı yapay zeka teknolojisinin geleneksel eğitim yöntemleri ile yürütülen solfej dersinde kullanılabilirliğini araştırmaktır. Araştırmada bu doğrultuda yapay zeka teknolojisi kullanılarak geliştirilen EarMaster kullanılmıştır. Eylem araştırması desenine uygun bir şekilde planlanan araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Gaziantep Üniversitesi Ses Eğitimi Bölümünde öğrenim gören 36 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda veriler nicel ve nitel veri toplama araçları ile toplanmıştır. Bu veri toplama araçları: öğrenci günlükleri, araştırmacı günlüğü, geçerlik komitesi raporları, öğrenciler ile gerçekleştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen solfej dersine yönelik tutum ölçeği ve performans testidir. Nitel verilerin analizinde içerik analizi kullanılırken; nicel verilerin analizinde ise SPSS paket crosoft Excel kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre öğrencilerin yapay zeka teknolojisi destekli işlenen solfej dersi performansları ve tutumlarına ilişkin ön test ve son test verileri incelendiğinde, öğrencilerin tutum ve performanslarının uygulama öncesine göre arttığı; performansın kalıcılığına bakıldığında ise kalıcılık puanlarının düşük çıktığı bulgularına ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca yapay zeka teknolojisi ile geliştirilen EarMaster programının solfej dersini yürütmede kullanılabilir olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yapay zeka teknolojisinin solfej eğitiminde kullanılabilir olma sebepleri ise EarMaster programının erişilebilir ve esnek olması, çalgıdan bağımsızlığı sağlaması, sürekli geri bildirim sunması ve gelişimin izlenebilmesi, öğretimi bireyselleştirmesi, heyecan faktörünü ortadan kaldırması, işitsel anlamda gelişim sağlaması, diğer alan derslerini de olumlu yönde etkilemesi, öğrenci ve öğretmen arasındaki etkileşimi arttırması olarak belirtilmiştir.

Nowadays, due to the solfege lessons being taught in crowded classes, it is difficult to reach the students and the education cannot be individualized. The aim of this study is to investigate the usability of artificial intelligence technology in solfeggio lessons conducted with traditional education methods. In this regard, the EarMaster program developed using artificial intelligence technology was used in the research. The study group of the research, which was planned in accordance with the action research pattern, consists of 36 students studying at Gaziantep University, Department of Voice Education. In line with the purpose of the research, data was collected with quantitative and qualitative data collection tools. These data collection tools are: student diaries, researcher diary, validity committee reports, semi-structured interviews with students, attitude scale and performance test towards the solfeggio course developed by the researcher. While content analysis is used in the analysis of qualitative data; SPSS package program and Microsoft Excel program were used to analyze the quantitative data. According to the results of the research, when the pre-test and post-test data regarding the students' performances and attitudes in the solfege lesson taught with the support of artificial intelligence technology were examined, it was found that the students' attitudes and performances increased compared to before the application; When looking at the permanence of performance, it was found that the permanence scores were low. It has also been concluded that the EarMaster program, developed with artificial intelligence technology, can be used in conducting solfege lessons. The reasons why artificial intelligence technology can be used in solfeggio education are that the EarMaster program is accessible and flexible, provides independence from the instrument, provides continuous feedback and development monitoring, individualizes the teaching, eliminates the excitement factor, provides auditory development, positively affects other field courses, and improves student learning. It is stated that it increases the interaction between students and teachers.
