Publication: Devlet okulları ve özel okullarda çalışan beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin okul sporlarına bakış açılarının incelenmesi: istanbul ili örneği
Abstract
Amaç: Araştırmada devlet okulları ve özel okullarda görev yapan beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin okul sporlarına bakış açılarının; demografik (cinsiyet, yaş vb.) değişkenlere göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğini araştırmaktır. Bunun yanında, araştırmaya katılan beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin; idari görevi, mesleki kıdemi, çalışılan kurum (devlet-özel), uzmanlık branşı gibi bağımsız değişkenlere göre varsa okul sporlarına yönelik bakış açılarındaki farklılıkları ortaya çıkarmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma, İstanbul ilinde bulunan lise düzeyinde, özel ve devlet okullarında görev yapan Beden Eğitimi Öğretmenlerini kapsamaktadır. Örneklem seçim yöntemi olarak, seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemlerinden, basit seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemi kullanılanılmıştır. Veriler, SPSS 27 Windows paket kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Veriler normal dağılım gösterdiği için, ikili gruplar için bağımsız t-Testi, 3 ve daha fazla gruplar için ise ANOVA analizlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmamız neticesinde, okul sporlarına bakış açısının; kurum, cinsiyet, idareci olma durumu, yaş, mesleki kıdem ve branşa göre farklılık göstermediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Sonuç: Özel okul ve devlet okulunda görev yapan Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenlerinin okul sporlarına karşı değerlendirmeleri yüksek oranda olumludur. Bu değerlendirmelere göre, okul sporları faaliyetlerinin daha güçlü ve etkili yapılması sonucunda öğrencilerin kişisel gelişimlerine ve Türkiye’deki spora olumlu katkılar sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
Objective: In the research, the perspectives of physical education and sports teachers working in public and private schools on school sports; It was investigated whether there were differences according to demographic variables (gender, age, etc.). In addition, physical education and sports teachers who participated in the research; Differences in perspectives on school sports, if any, were revealed according to independent variables such as administrative position, professional seniority, institution (public-private) and branch of specialization. Materials and Methods: The research covers Physical Education Teachers working in high school level, private and public schools in Istanbul. As the sample selection method, simple random sampling method, one of the random sampling methods, was used. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 27 Windows package program. Independent t-Test, ANOVA, MANOVA and regression analyzes are used as parametric tests depending on whether the data is normally distributed or not; As non-parametric tests, Man Whitney-U and Kruskal Wallis-U analyzes were used. Results: As a result of our study, it was concluded that the perspective on school sports does not differ according to institution, gender, status of being a manager, age, professional seniority and branch. Conclusion: The evaluations of Physical Education and Sports Teachers working in private and public schools towards school sports are highly positive. According to these evaluations, it is thought that school sports activities will contribute to the personal development of students and sports in Turkey as a result of being more powerful and effective.
