Abstract
HATTAT SAMİ EFENDİ ve İSTANBUL MÜZELERİNDEKİ ESERLERİ Hattat Sâmi Efendi 1838-1912 yıllarında yaşamıştır. Hat sanatı tarihinin önemli isimlerindendir. Hattat Râkım’ın başlatmış olduğu ekolü geliştirmiştir. Bugün hattatlar celî sülüs, celî ta’lik, celî dîvânî ve tuğra çeşitlerinde Sâmi Efendi’yi takip etmektedir. Sâmi Efendi Râkım, İsmail Zühdî ve Yesîrîzâde’den etkilenmiştir. Kendisinden sonraki bütün hattatları etkilemiştir. Onun öğrencileri bir sonraki neslin en önemli hocaları olmuştur. Ayrıca Sâmi Efendi, çok renkli bir şahsiyettir. İstanbul’da, Topkapı Sarayı Müze ve kütüphanesi, Türk ve İslam Eserleri Müzesi, Türk Vakıf ve Hat Eserleri Müzesi, Sakıp Sabancı Müzesi, Sadberk Hanım Müzesi, Türk Petrol Vakfı Müzesi, Yıldız Şehir Müzesi, Âşiyan Müzesi, Tübeler ve Müzeler Müdürlüğü koleksiyonlarında bulunan Sâmi Efendi’ye ait eserler taranmıştır. Envanter bilgileri de tezimize yerleştirilmiştir.
CALLİGRAPHER SÂMİ EFENDİ and HİS WORKS OF ART IN THE MUSEUMS OF İSTANBUL Calligrapher Sâmi Efendi had lived between the years of 1838 and 1912. He is one of the most important personages of the history of calligraphy art. He developed the school that was started by Calligrapher Râkım. Today the calligraphers follow Sâmi Efendi in celî sülüs, celî talik, celî dîvânî and tuğra styles. Sâmi Efendi was affected from Râkım, İsmail Zühdî and Yesârîzâde and the also affected all calligraphers after him. His students hawe been the most important masters of the next generation. İn addition Sâmi Efendi was a very interesting figure. In his study the works of art of Sâmi Efendi in İstanbul exited in the collctiions of Topkapı Palas Museum and Library, Turkish and Islamic Works of Art Museum, Turkish Foundation and Calligraphy Works and Art Museum, Sakıp sabancı Museum, Sadberk Hanım Museum, Turkish Petroleum Museum, Yıldız City Museum, Âşiyan Museum and Tombs and Museums Directorate are scanned. Inventory informationand photographs are used. Also the documents of archives are placed in the thesis, as for as they were available for the researcher
