Abstract
KARİYERİNİN BAŞINDAKİ ÇALIŞANLARIN İŞE GİRİŞ ÖNCESİ İŞTEKİ OLUMLU DENEYİMLERİNİN ÖRGÜTE BAĞLILIK VE İŞTEN AYRILMA NİYETİ İLE İLİŞKİSİ Bu araştırmanın amacı, kariyerinin başındaki çalışanların işe giriş öncesi ve işteki olumlu deneyimlerinin örgüte bağlılık ve işten ayrılma niyeti ile ilişkisini incelemektir. Araştırma, toplam iş deneyimi 2 yıl ve 2 yıldan az olan hızlı tüketim, ilaç, banka, sigorta, iletişim, insan kaynakları danışmanlığı ve diğer sektörlerde faaliyet gösteren firmalarda çalışan toplam 116 kişilik bir grup üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, işe giriş öncesi olumlu deneyimler olarak ele alınan ‘işe giriş öncesi iş ve örgüt hakkında bilgi sahibi olma’ ve ‘işe giriş kararındaki irade ve isteklilik’ değişkenlerinin örgüte bağlılık ve işten ayrılma niyeti ile manidar bir ilişkisinin olduğu bulunmuştur. Olumlu iş deneyimleri değişkeni örgüte bağlılık ve işten ayrılma niyeti ile anlamlı bir ilişki gösterirken, olumlu iş deneyimlerinin örgüte içten bağlılık faktörü ve işten ayrılma niyeti değişkenlerinin iyi bir yordayıcısı olduğu bulunmuştur.
This study aims to examine the relationship of pre-entry job choice variables and early work experiences to early employment organizational commitment and intentions to quit. The study has been conducted on 116 participants who have a total work experience of two years or less. The participants work in companies in the sectors of fast moving consumer goods, medicine, banking, insurance, communication and human resources consultancy. The results of the study revealed that there is a significant positive relationship between positive pre-entry job choice variables and early employment organizational commitment and significant negative relationship between positive pre-entry job choice variables and intentions to quit for employees who have a total work experience of two years or less. Also, there is significant positive relationship between positive early work experiences and organizational commtiment and a significant negative relationship positive early work expeirences and intentions to quit for employees who have a total work experience of two years or less.
