Abstract
İstanbul İl Merkezindeki Spor Tesisleri Yönetim Kapasitesinin Yöneticilerin Demografik Özelliklerine Göre İncelenmesi: Yerel Yönetimler Örneği Öğrencinin Adı-Soyadı: Nur ALKAN Danışmanın Adı-Soyadı: Dr. Serap MUNGAN AY Programın Adı: Spor Yönetim Bilimleri Tezli Yüksek Lisans Mevcut çalışma, İstanbul İl merkezinde yerel yönetimlere bağlı spor tesisleri yöneticilerinin yönetim kapasitesinin sosyodemografik özelliklere göre nasıl şekillendiğini ve bu faktörlerin spor tesislerinin etkin yönetimine nasıl etki edebileceğini araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Spor tesislerinin etkin bir şekilde yönetilmesi, sporun yaygınlaştırılması ve toplum sağlığına katkı sağlaması açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Spor tesisleri yöneticilerinin cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim düzeyi, mesleki deneyim gibi sosyodemografik faktörlerin yönetim kapasiteleri üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Toplamda 97 kişinin katıldığı çalışma nicel yönteme uygun olarak gerçekleştirilmiş ve Spor Tesisi Yöneticilerinin Yönetim Kapasitesini Değerlendirme Ölçeği (Çetin ve Karaçam, 2021) kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda cinsiyet, medeni durum, yaş ve mesleki deneyim yılının yönetim kapasitesi üzerinde anlamlı bir fark oluşturmadığı, ancak spor tesisinden yararlanma ve eğitim düzeyinin anlamlı farklılıklar ortaya koyduğu keşfedilmiştir.Yapılan çalışmada spor tesisi yöneticilerinin yönetim kapasitesinin önemli ölçüde sosyodemografik özelliklere göre farklılaşmadığı keşfedilmiştir. Buna karşın eğitim düzeyi ve spor tesisinden yararlanma olgularının yönetim kapasitesinde birtakım farklılıklara yol açabildiği de belirlenmiş ve konunun detaylandırılması vurgusu yapılmıştır. Ayrıca mevcut bulguların politikalara dönüştürülebilmesi için benzer çalışmaların gerçekleştirilmesi, böylece sonuçların farklı il ve bölgelerdeki sonuçlarla karşılaştırılmasının gerekli olduğu düşünülmektedir.
Examination of the Management Capacity of Sports Facility Managers in Istanbul Central District According to Their Demographic Characteristics: A Case Study of Local Governments Student's Name: Nur ALKAN Name: Dr. Serap MUNGAN AY Program Name: Sports Management Sciences Master Program. The current study aims to investigate how the management capacity of sports facility managers affiliated with local governments in Istanbul's central district is shaped based on sociodemographic characteristics and how these factors can potentially impact the effective management of sports facilities. Effective management of sports facilities is of great importance for the promotion of sports and its contribution to public health. The study examines the influence of sociodemographic factors such as gender, age, educational level, and professional experience on the management capacity of sports facility managers. A total of 97 individuals participated in the study, which was conducted using a quantitative approach, and the 'Assessment Scale for the Management Capacity of Sports Facility Managers' (Çetin and Karaçam, 2021) was utilized. The research findings revealed that gender, marital status, age, and years of professional experience did not create a significant difference in management capacity. However, the utilization of sports facilities and educational level were found to be significant factors contributing to differences. In the conducted study, it was discovered that the management capacity of sports facility managers does not significantly differ according to sociodemographic characteristics. However, it was also determined that educational level and the utilization of sports facilities can lead to certain differences in management capacity. The study emphasizes the need for further research to delve into these aspects. Additionally, similar studies should be conducted to translate the current findings into policies, and the results should be compared with findings from different cities and regions.
