Öğretmen ve öğrencilerin öğretme-öğrenme süreçlerinde bilgisayara karşı tutum ve kaygılarının değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

In this research, it is tried to be understood the level of the negative attitude and anxienty of the teachers and the students towards computer in their private lives and educational environments. Again in this research, it is tried to be questioned use of the computers and differences between the negative and positive attitudes and anxienty towards computer among both the teachers and students of the secondary level in Anadolu Lise and Private Elementary School. According to the results, while clarifying the reasons of the negative attitudes and computer anxienty towards computer, there would be some proposals about the occurance of the reasons and elimination of the effects on a person. Considering the aim of the research, there are two attitude scales that are being used for both teachers and the students. And the results of the scales had been the base of this research. The theoric support of this research depends on the similar researches and literature. The teachers who took apart in this research are compared depending on their gender, age, seniority, branch, having a camp in school or at home, being a computer user, aims for the use of computer, the ways of the learning computer and the average time of their weekly study before the computer. On the other hand participant students are compared according to their gender, grade, whether having the preparatory year, the education level of their parents, family income, whether having a computer at school or home, being a computer user, aim of the use of computer, the ways of learning computer, the average time of their weekly study before the computer, whether getting help from family, having an education supported by computer, their own attitudes toward the lessons supported by computer, whether having a private computer course and the desire of the family on their child's computer education. In addition, both the teachers and students are also compared according to the common variables. This research is going to be limited by the attitudes and anxiety of the teachers and the students in secondary level of Private Elementary School and Anadolu Lise in Istanbul.

Bu araştırmada; öğretmen ve öğrencilerin öğretim ortamlarında ve özel yaşamlarında bilgisayara yönelik olumsuz tutum ve kaygılarının düzeyi belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada, özel ilköğretim okulu ve anadolu liselerinin ikinci kademesinde çalışan öğretmenler ile aynı kademede okuyan öğrenciler arasında bilgisayarı kullanma, bilgisayara karşı gelişen olumlu yada olumsuz tutum ve kaygıları arasındaki farklar sorgulanmaya çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulardan yola çıkılarak bilgisayar kaygısına ve bilgisayara karşı olumsuz tutumlara neden olan etmenler belirlenerek bu etmenlerin oluşumuna ve birey üzerindeki etkilerini kaldırmaya yönelik öneriler geliştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak öğretmen ve öğrencilere yönelik iki ayrı tutum ölçeği geliştirilmiş ve bu ölçekten elde edilen sonuçlar araştırmanın temelini oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın kuramsal dayanağı ise bu konuda yapılmış benzer araştırmalardan ve literatürden sağlanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenler cinsiyet, yaş, kıdem, branş, evde ve okulda kullanılabilecek bilgisayarın olup olmaması, bilgisayar kullanıcısı olup olmamaları, bilgisayarı kullanma amaçları, bilgisayar kullanmayı öğrenme yolları ve bilgisayar başında haftalık ortalama çalışma saatlerine göre karşılaştırılmıştır. Öğrenciler ise cinsiyet, sınıf, hazırlık sınıfını okuma, anne ve babanın öğrenim durumu, ailenin gelir durumu evde ve okulda kullanılabilecek bilgisayarın olup olmaması, bilgisayar kullanıcısı olup olmamaları, bilgisayarı kullanma amaçları, bilgisayar kullanmayı öğrenme yolları ve bilgisayar başında haftalık ortalama çalışma saatleri, bilgisayar konusunda aileden yardım alıp almamaları, bilgisayar destekli ders alıp almamaları, alınan bilgisayar destekli dersin yararına olan inançları, ayrıca bilgisayar dersi alıp almamaları, ailenin cocuğunun bilgisayar öğrenmesi kosunda istekli olup olmaması değişkenlerine göre karşılaştırılmıştır. Ayrıca, öğretmen ve öğrenciler ölçeklerdeki ortak değişkenler açısından karşılaştırılmıştır. Araştırma, İstanbul ilindeki Özel İlköğretim Okulu ve Anadolu Liseleri'nin ikinci kademesindaki öğretmen ve öğrencilerin bilgisayara karşı tutum ve kaygıları ile sınırlandırılmıştır.
