İstihdam ve büyüme arasındaki ilişkinin temel sektörler açısından değerlendirilmesi : Türkiye analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışma 2005-2018 dönemi için Türkiye ekonomisindeki istihdam ve iktisadi büyüme arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Ayrıca bu çalışmada istihdam ve iktisadi büyüme temel sektörler bakımından incelenmiştir. 2005-2018 dönemi için Türkiye’ye ait veriler kullanılarak istihdam ve iktisadi büyüme oranları arasındaki ilişki test edilmiş ve elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilmiştir. İstihdam ile iktisadi büyüme arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek için Granger nedensellik testi uygulanmıştır.Yapılan ekonometrik analiz sonucunda büyümenin istihdamın nedeni olduğu yani büyümede meydana gelen değişimlerin istihdam üzerinde etkili olduğu fakat istihdamdan büyümeye giden bir nedensellik ilişkisi olmadığı yani istihdamda meydana gelen değişimlerin büyüme üzerinde etkili olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This study was conducted to examine the relationship between employment and economic growth in Turkey's economy for the 2005-2018 period. Also in this study, employment and economic growth was analyzed in terms of basic sectors, relationship between employment and economic growth rates tested, obtained findings were evaluated, with using the data for the mentioned date period of Turkey. Granger causality test was used to determine the relationship between employment and economic growth. As a result of the econometric analysis, it is concluded that growth is the cause of employment, in other words, changes in growth affect employment. But there is no causal relationship from employment to growth, ie changes in employment do not affect growth.
