Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı Quantitative Assessment of Socio-Scientific Reasoning (QuASSR) ölçeğinin Türkçeyeuyarlamasının sağlanmasıdır. Çalışma bir ortaöğretim kurumunda öğrenim gören 9, 10, 11 ve 12. sınıföğrencileri ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu ölçek dört alt boyut içermektedir. Bunlar karmaşıklık, bakış açısı,sorgulama ve şüpheciliktir. Ölçeğinin adı Türkçeye uyarlanarak Sosyobilimsel Muhakeme Yeteneği Ölçeği olarakdüzenlenmiştir. Ölçekte yer alan soruların zorluk düzeyleri ve çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin yetenekdüzeylerinin analizinde Rasch Ölçme Modeli kullanılmıştır. Rasch Ölçme Modeli analizi bulgularından eldeedilen sonuçlarda ölçeğin tek boyutlu olduğu ve yapı geçerliğini sağladığı belirlenmiştir. Güvenirliğinin iseyeterli düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yapılan analiz doğrultusunda, öğrencilerin sosyobilimselmuhakeme yeteneklerinin düşük olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrenciler en düşük beceriyi sorgulama altboyutunda gösterirken en yüksek beceriyi ise bakış açısı alt boyutunda göstermiştir.
The primary aim of this study is to adapt the Quantitative Assessment of Socio-Scientific Reasoning (QuASSR)_x000D_ scale to Turkish. The study was conducted with 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students in a secondary school._x000D_ This scale has four dimensions. These are complexity, perspective, inquiry and skepticism. The Rasch_x000D_ Measurement Model was conducted to analyze the difficulty levels of the questions in the Socio-Scientific_x000D_ Reasoning Scale and the ability levels of the students who participated in the study. The results obtained from_x000D_ the Rasch analysis showed that the scale was one-dimensional and also valid. It was concluded that the reliability_x000D_ was in an appropriate level. As a result of the descriptive analysis of the Turkish version of the scale, it was_x000D_ concluded that students' socio-scientific reasoning skills were in low-level. Analysis showed that the inquiry was_x000D_ the lowest and the perspective was the highest scored dimensions.
