Publication: Quality of life at bone marrow transplantation patients [Kemik iliǧi transplantasyonu yapilan hastalarda yaşam kalitesi ve bakim]
Abstract
Bone marrow transplantation (BMT) is a procedure used for the treatment of a variety of cancers and malignant disease. Recovery from this intensive process requires a long-term course. Recently, literature has begun to explore the impact of this procedure on quality of life (QOL) and psychosocial issue. The number of long-term survivors after allogeneic BMT has been increasing over the past year, and QOL has become an important end-point. Literatures illustrate a number of functional impairments that patients experience after BMT.
