Abstract
OSMANLI SİYASÎ DÜŞÜNCESİNDE YENİ ÜSLÛP ARAYIŞLARI MÎZAN GAZETESİ ÖRNEĞİ Osmanlı düşüncesinde‚ dönüm noktası olarak kabul edilen Tanzimat’la beraber‚ siyasî ve askeri değişimlerin‚ kendisini ifade etme sorununa bulunan çözümler‚ dildeki değişimi şekillendirmiştir. Bu şekillenmenin Osmanlı siyasî, hukuki ve düşünsel dünyasında zaten var olan kavramların‚ yeni anlamlar yüklenerek bir anlamda muhtevasının değişmesi şeklinde kendisini ortaya koyduğunu görüyoruz. Çalışmada, bu değişime, süreli bir yayın olması itibari ile en iyi örnek oluşturabileceğini düşündüğümüz Mîzan Gazetesi ele alındı. Mîzan Gazetesi’nde ele alınan, muhafazakârlık, devlet, saltanat/ hilafet, mukavele, müsâvat, Avrupa/ Batı, medeniyet kavramları dönemin tarihi ve siyasî algısını bize verebileceği için seçildi. Kavramlar incelenirken gazetenin yayın seyrine göre bir kronoloji ve bu kronolojiye uygun değişim göz önünde bulunduruldu. Bu çalışma ile mutlak bir değişimden daha ziyade yeni düşünce akımlarının zaten var olan kavramlar üzerinden bina edildiği ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.
SEARCH OF NEW STYLES IN OTTOMAN POLITICAL THOUGHT THE CASE OF MÎZAN GAZETESI With the Tanzimat, which is regarded as a milestone in Ottoman Thought, the recipes found for the expression of political and military changes shaped the language forming. It seems that this new forming took place by the change of contents of already existing concepts in Ottoman political, juristic and intellectual world. In the present study, the periodical Mîzan Gazetesi is considered to be the best example of such a change for investigation. The concepts of “conservatism, state, sultanate/ caliphate, contract, Europe/ West, and civilization” in Mîzan Gazetesi are chosen; for, it is thought that these concepts might help us understand the historical and political milieu of the period. While examining the concepts, chronological course of the journal is followed. With this study, it is attempted to show that rather than being an absolute change, new intellectual movements were established on already existing concepts.
