Türkiye’de eğitim ekonomisi alanında yapılan lisansüstütezlerin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı Türkiye'de eğitim ekonomisi dalında yazılmış lisansüstü tezleri inceleyerek alandaki genel eğilimlerini belirlemektir. Araştırmada betimsel tarama yöntemi ve içerik analizi UFLO??? LVMMBO MN ?U S 4PO Z MEB 5àSL?ZF EF F??U?N FLPOPN?T? BMBO OEB ZBQ MBO ZàLTFL M?TBOT WF doktora tezi, araştırmanın evrenini oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında bu tezlerin tamamına ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmada eğitim ekonomisi dalındaki lisansüstü tezlerin yüksek lisans seviyesinde daha popüler olduğu, yoğun olarak Türkçe dilinde yazıldığı, en çok 2014 ve 2015 yıllarında üretildiği görülmektedir. Nicel yöntemlerin ve özellikle tarama ve doküman analizi modellerinin tezlerde sıklıkla kullanıldığı, Sosyal Bilimler Enstitülerinin, Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitülerine oranla daha fazla çalışma yaptığı gözlenmiştir. Tezleri yazanların ve tez danışmanlarının cinsiyetlerine bakıldığında ise erkeklerin hem doktora hem de yüksek lisans düzeyinde alana daha fazla ilgi gösterdiği görülmektedir. Unvan olarak profesörlerin alana daha fazla ağırlık verdiği ortaya çıkmaktadır. Konuların dağılımına bakıldığında ise, "finansal kaynaklar, eğitim ve maliyet, eğitim ve kalkınma, eğitim ve istihdam durumları" öne çıkmaktadır. Genel olarak eğitim ekonomisi alanındaki tezlerin hem nitelik hem de nicelik geliştirilmesi gerekliliği ortaya çıkmaktadır. Konu ve yöntem bakımından özgün, Türkiye'deki eğitim sorunlarına çözüm üreten çalışmalara gereksinim duyulmaktadır

The purpose of this research is to determine general trends in the field by examining the postgraduate theses and dissertations written in the field of educational economics in Turkey. theses and doctorate dissertations written over the last 25 years in the field of educational economics in Turkey have formed the universe of this research. All of these theses and dissertations have been reached within the scope of the research. It is observed in the study that theses in education economics are more popular at master’s level, they are written intensely in Turkish, mostly produced in 2014 and 2015. It has been observed that the quantitative methods and especially the survey and document analysis models are used more frequently in the theses. Most of the theses prepared for the Institute of Social Sciences rather than Institute of Educational Sciences. When the genders of the thesis writers and the thesis advisors are examined, it is seen that the men are more interested in the fields both doctorate and master levels. In terms of academic rankings, professors appear to give more weight to the field. When we look at the distribution of the issues of theses, “financial resources, education and costs, education and development, education and employment situations” come to the forefront. In general, theses in the field of educational economics appear to be inadequate both in terms of quality and quantity. There is a need for work that is unique in terms of subject and method, and that produces solutions to the educational problems in Turkey
