Abstract
MÂTÜRÎDÎ’NİN TE’VÎLÂTÜ’L-KUR’ÂN’DA HZ. MUHAMMED’İN PEYGAMBERLİĞİNİ İSPATLA İLGİLİ AYETLERİ YORUMU Bu çalışmada İmam Mâtürîdî’nin, Te’vîlâtü’l-Kur’ân isimli tefsirinde Hz. Muhammed (s.a.s.)’in nübüvvetinin ispatına dair delil olarak zikrettiği ayetleri nasıl yorumladığı incelendi. Tezin giriş bölümünde konunun amacı, önemi ve kapsamı üzerinde duruldu. Birinci bölümde Mâtürîdî’nin hayatı ve Te’vîlâtü’l-Kur’ân hakkında bilgiler verildi. İkinci bölümde Mâtürîdî’nin, Te’vîlâtü’l-Kur’ân’da genel olarak nübüvvet müessesesi ve Kur’ân’da ismi geçen bazı peygamberlerin nübüvvetlerinin ispatı ile ilgili yorumları aktarıldı. Üçüncü bölümde ise Mâtürîdî’nin Hz. Muhammed (s.a.s.)’in nübüvvetinin ispatıyla irtibatlandırdığı ayetleri nasıl yorumladığı üzerinde duruldu.
ON THE QUR’ANIC VERSES PROVING PROPHET MUHAMMAD’S BEING A TRUE MESSENGER OF GOD IN IMAM AL-MATURIDI’S “TAWILAT AL-QUR’AN” This study focuses on how Imam al-Maturidi interprets the verses which he considers as proof for Prophet Muhammad’s being a true messenger of God. The introductiory chapter explains the aim, significance, and scope of the subject, as well as the method followed this study. Chapter one gives information on the life of Imam Maturidi and his work Tawilat al-Qur’an. Chapter two presents the conception of Messengership (Nubuwwa) in Tawilat al-Qur’an along with the interpretations of certain verses in this work, which proves some other prophets’ being true messengers, whose names are mentioned in the Qur’an. Chapter three expounds on how Imam Maturidi interpreted the verses which he sees as proof for Prophet Muhammad’s being a true messenger.
