Kerbela Vak’ ası

Abstract

Bu çalışma, İslam tarihinin çok tartışılan ve üzerinden on beş asır geçmesine rağmen canlılığını kaybetmeyen konularından olan Kerbelâ vak'asını ilk kaynaklar ışığında muvacehesinde araştırma ve zaman içerisinde olayın etrafında oluşan literatürü tespit etme amacına yöneliktir. Üç bölümden oluşan araştırmada Kerbelâ vak'asının, dönemin sosyo-politik şartları neticesinde meydana geldiği, buna karşılık dinî görüntü altında bazı siyasî amaçlar için kullanıldığı sonucuna varıldı. Ayrıca tarihi şartlar altında vuku bulmuş Kerbelâ vak'asının kısa bir süre sonra efsanevî bir hale getirildiği ve İslâmî edebiyatın önemli bir kısmını oluşturduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bunun temel sebebi olarak da Hz. Hüseyin'in Hz. Peygamber'in torunu olması, şahsî özellikleri doğrultusunda Kerbelâ'da gösterdiği sabır ve metanet örneğinin yanısıra onu imam kabul eden Şiîlerin girişimlerinin etkili olduğu kanaatine varıldı.

This study explores, deriving from the primary sources the Battle of Karbala, the one of most debated and controversial subject in Islamic History., in spite of fifteen century passed over. The thesis consists of three parts and demonstrates that the Battle of Karbala happpened as a result of the sociopolitic developments however it was used in order to politic aims under religious appearance. It is important to note that the Battle of Karbala which was a historical event became legendary later and during this long time constituted the important part of Islamic literature. This was because of the the relationship between Husayn and the Prophet Muhammad, Husayns's besides personal merits and the Shi'ite's efforts who appropriate Husayn as Imam.
