Publication: Kur’ an- ı Kerim tefsirinde dilin yeri ve önemi
Abstract
Yaşamakta olduğumuz çağ, sosyal bilimlerin yükselme gösterdiği bir çağ olarak nitelendirilmektedir. İnsanı, tarihi ve kültürü anlama-yorumlama çabalarının, en üst ve en ince noktasına vardırılmaya çalışıldığı bir çağda yaşamaktayız. Sözü edilen incelemeleri yetkin bir biçimde gerçekleştirmek bakımından, sosyal bilimler alanında geliştirilen disiplinlerden yararlanmak zarûrî hale gelmiştir. Bu toplumun bir ferdi olarak biz de, bu çalışmalardan habersiz ve müstağni kalamazdık. Sosyal ve kültürel gelişmeler karşısında istiğna belirtici bir tavır takınmanın, felaketli neticeler getirdiği gözle görülür bir gerçektir. Tarihe baktığımızda, dünyada meydana gelen değişim ve gelişimler karşısında kör ve sağır kesilen toplumların, tarîh dışına itildiklerini gösteren yüzlerce vesikayla karşılaşmamız mümkündür. Bu düşüncelerden hareket ederek Kur'an-ı Kerim Tefsirinde Dilin Yeri ve Önemi ismini taşıyan doktora çalışmamızda, sözlü ve yazılı metinleri doğru ya da doğruya daha yakın bir tarzda anlama ve yorumlama faaliyetiyle meşgul olan semantik ve hermenötik disiplinlerini elimizden geldiğince incelemeye çalıştık. Gayemiz, başta ayet ve hadisler olmak üzere, islamî literatürün daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi yolunda katkılar sağlamaktır. Biz bu çalışmamızla, sözünü ettiğimiz bu katkıyı sağlayabileceğimiz inancını taşımaktayız. Ortaya koyduğumuz bu çalışma, teorik niteliği ağır basan bir çalışmadır. Bu sebeple, hayli yorucu ve zaman zaman ümitsizlik doğurucu bir karakter taşıdığı hususu izaha muhtaç değildir. Çalışmamızın her bir cümle ve ifadesi üzerinde, uzun uğraşı ve imal-i zihin çabalarımız olmuştur. Çalışmamız, bu yorucu ve bıktırıcı çabaların mahsûlü olarak bu hale gelebilmiştir. Seçtiğimiz konunun zorluğu, herkesçe malumdur. Çalışmamızda, herhangi bir metni yorumlarken istifade edebileceğimiz yorumlama yöntem ve kurallarını topladık. Bunları mümkün olduğunca anlaşılır bir dille sunmayı hedefledik. İstifade etmek amacıyla okunduğu takdirde, yararlı olacağı kanaatini taşımaktayız. Tezimizde yer alan bilgileri kendimize özgü bir anlatımla sunma yolunu benimsedik. Bilgi yığmaktan, şiddetle kaçındık. Aldığımız her bilgiyi, işleyerek verdik. Kuru bir bilgi sunumundan uzak durduk. Çalışmamız bir giriş ve dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Tezimizin birinci bölümünde, klasik ve çağdaş kaynaklardan dil tanımlarını verdik. Dilin yerine getirdiği görevlerden bahsettik. Dilin, karmaşık ilişkiler ağının ördüğü bir bütünlük olduğunu söyledik. Sözlü iletişim sırasında, iletişimin eksiksiz gerçekleşmesi için gereken altı öğeyi sıraladık. Çağdaş dilbilim akımlarına yer verdik. Artsüremli ve eşsüremli dilbilim incelemelerini anlattık. Dil-söz ayrımına temas ettik. Gösterge çeşitlerini, tanımlarını yaparak sıraladık. Tezimizin ikinci bölümünde dil-anlam ilişkisini ele aldık. Anlam kelimesine dair bilgiler verdik. Kelimelerin anlamlarını, kullanıldıkları bağlam sayesinde elde ettiklerini söyledik. Anlambilim ve anlamlama faaliyetlerine dair, kısa ve net bilgiler verdik. Tezimizin üçüncü bölümünde, günümüzde giderek önem kazanmış ve değişik disiplinlerde yorumlama yöntemi olarak kullanılan hermenötik hakkında, genel fakat öze ilişkin bilgiler vermeyi tercih ettik. Gereksiz ve faydasız ayrıntılara girmekten kaçındık. Farklı hermenötik anlayışlardan kısa ve
biçimde bahsettik. Tezimizin dördüncü bölümünde, Furkan suresinden seçtiğimiz ayetler hakkında, değişik müfessirlerin yorumlarını aktardık. Müfessirlerin yorumlarını aktarırken, kendimizden birşeyler katmayı hiçbir zaman ihmal etmedik. Tezimizin tamamında dikkat ettiğimiz en önemli husus, alınan bilgilerin işlenmesi ve kendi zihin süzgecimizden geçirilmesidir. Çalışmamızda özgün bire anlatıma ulaşmayı hedefledik. Tezimizde yer alan bilgi ve düşünceler, bizim üslubumuzu taşımaktadır. ABSTRACT THE POSITION AND IMPORTANCE OF LANGUAGE IN THE INTERPRETATION OF KUR'AN-I KERIM In this doctorate study entitled The Position and Importance of Language in the Interpretation of Kur'an-ı Kerim, we tried to carry out the analysis of the disciplines of semantics and hermeneutics which deal with the activities of correct or an almost correct comprehension and interpretation of the oral and written texts. Our aim is to contribute to the better appreciation of the Islamic terminology, basically of the verses of Kur'an-ı Kerim and of the statements of the Prophet Muhammed. We believe that such a contribution may be achieved through this study. Our study is compased of an introduction and four sections. In the first section of the thesis, language definitions from bath classical and modern sources are introduced. The functions of language are mentioned. It is stated that language is an integrity formed by the net of complex relations. Six factors that are necessary for perfect communication while orally communicating are set in order. Modern linguistic movements are handled. Diachronic and synchronic linguistic analyses are explained. The difference between language and speech is also mentioned in this section, and the types of sign are arranged by their definitions. Language- meaning relation is mainly focused upon in the second section of our thesis. Information about 'the meaning' is given. In this section, it is also stressed that words gain meaning by means of the sense in which they are used. Besides, short and clear- cut information on semantics and the activities of significance is presented. In the third section of our thesis, general but essential information is preferred to be given about hermeneutics thet has been gradually gaining importance nowadays and that has been used as an interpretation method in different disciplines. Unnecessary and useless details on the subject are avoided. Lastly, in this section diffferent hermeneutic understandings are shortly but essentially mentioned about. In the fourth section of our thesis, different commentators' interpretations on the verses we have chosen from the Furkan Sura are conveyed. While conveying the interpretations of the commentors, we have never neglected adding something of our own. The most important point that is considered in our thesis as a whole is the treatment of the received information and the personal evaluation of this informatin. This study intends to have an original expression. The information and the thoughts in this thesis reflect our style.
